oooh sorry, i just think he's a realistic player for Juve, i've been reading a lot of posts saying "Juve needs a playmaker", and obviously he's even easier to get than dinho or rivery (I want him too though), other options for me would be mmh aimar or bonaventure kalou...
simao is great . i still remember his goal on liverpool

i really like the way you think of "realistic" options :agree:

bremen's deigo also seem to be a good option

as for attack i think iquinta is a good option . odinese is not as good after spalitti

alot of players won't be happy being bench players

and what about neddy's sub? thinking about nocerino playing there or marchionni ?

wouldn't want him at juve, don't know exactly why
Deco would be perfect imo

He is one of the best mids in the world and a trillion times better than Frings

He is 30 .. ok and costs something like 1.5-2 times more than frings but if we want to be cometitive it is ok .. why not buy both?

or even better

Deco-Mavuba that would cost what 25 million? expensive but would give us one of the best mids in the world and make us competitive

I think all Juve needs is really 3 or 4 top buys to go with the players we got and the new ones already signed (grygera, salihamidzic, criscito, tacchi coming back)

I think if we could land Deco, Mavuba, Pepe and Ribery or maby Barzagli w would be in great shape to win Serie A next season assuming they can integrate into the team.

Deco is world class and will have a huge impact on our team (much like Nedved does) but in the center of the pitch.

Marchionni, Palladino and Salihamidzic could be his subsitute.
I'm still hoping we'll get Ribery though. Latest is that DD would like Malouda.

I don´t believe Salihamidzic, Marchionni nor Palladino can be effective as Nedved on the left wing (OK, maybe Palladino can) so I´m still hoping we get Ribery like you do. Unfortunately I think we will lose the battle for him, but on the other side I´m quite optimistic about Malouda.

The CB position could be down to Barzagli and Heinze IMO.Barzagli would be the easier catch, and even though he isnt really a Nesta or a Cannavaro,he's a decent step up from what we have.We wont really end up with someone like Terry, and from what i heard,Metzelder already signed for Real Madrid.Barzagli looks like the most likely option now. He's not a world beater, but he's good enough to get us a CL spot next season. We have to go in steps.Get promoted, get the good players, and then the great players. We wont get too many great players the moment we get promoted.Good players would do,and Barzagli is one.

Barzagli isn't up to our ambition. He is overrated and can be compared to the best defenders of the Calcio.

I just want anyone to evaluate Barzagli's skills as a good defender: body balance, air play, quickness, positioning, covering, stamina, etc...

His pass to Zaccardo yesterday was good. :D But I do agree, he is a bit overrated.

I didn't notice that he was the one who passed it to Zaccardo. No problem, it happens with me a lot.

Actually, I'm not completely against Barzagli, but to classify him as being the saviour, the leader and the defender whom everybody are fighting for is an exaggeration. For example, that was the opinion of the yesterday's commentator, a little bit weird, wasn't it?

It depends on how you define ambition. If attaining the CL spot next season is the ambition, then he certainly is good enough.Though yes,he isnt someone who'd hold our defenceline succesfully when we go back into european football.
