The 4-3-3 is a position that little children play in because they are not intelligent enough, nor creative enough to learn how to work as a team. 4-3-3 takes no imagination and no skill, and is quickly diagnosed and destroyed. Teams that run it, have short term success only.
Regarding Juventus tactics and style. I would not mind at all seeing a more creative CM. We need one. But not with the DM we have now, and not at the cost of defense. I would love to see Gilberto and Nedved in the center next year. I would love to see Gilberto and M. Diarra. Even Gilberto and Zanetti would not be bad. Zanetti and Sneijder is a scary CM combo. Zanetti - Lampard is terrifying. If you want Lampard, you would have to have Makelele next to him. Zanetti is a decent defender. If we are to have an attacking CM, we will need a very good DM. WE DONT HAVE THAT.
4-3-3 childish WTF are you on about? That is probably the most ridiculous statement on the forum at the moment, which is saying a lot! Barca, Manchester & Chelsea would all prove your theory totally wrong this season, while a quick glimpse into the games history throws up Roma & Lazio's most recent title winning sides, France in 98, the total football dutch teams of 74 & 78, Ajax since forever. Need I go on?
Then you ramble on making no sense. Need a creative centre midfield, then say Pavel should play there (a great idea!). Then M. Diarra? Creative? Then Zanetti? Then Lampard? Then Makelele? Where are you going? Why not play DD & Zidane, you seem to have suggested everyone else. Don't have a good DM? But then you have already said we could play Zanetti next term. Is he good enough or not?
I think we lost to Arsenal in the CL for a number of reasons.
1. Capello's bull$hit tactics & treatment of Del Piero
2. Camoranesi & Zebina. Say no more.
3. Fabregas having the game(s) of his life v Vieira, & the latter thinking he would own Fabregas without trying. Got owned himself, as did Zebina.
