I don't remember the last Italian DM or CM I suggested besides a few posts ago asking about Donadel (no more available than Sneijder). I just dont understand how I continue to hear immature, "I guess he insnt Italian" remarks from people like you, who use it as a mechanism to degrade my agruments. I understand that the lives and reputations people form on these forums are important to them. But, using untrue, exaggerated reasons for arguing, is not a mature way of making a point.

I understand you love flash and pizazz and I know that you understand I just like to get the job done. There are different styles, based on different moral values. I beleive that Juventus should sign players that fit the mold in positions that have required certain styles for a long time.

"I would prefer to see him on the flanks. Possibly in a CM role but we will definately need an amazing DM then."

"The Paro and Zanetti combo is an OK combo in Serie B. I think Sneijder would be a better SM."

I wrote exactly this. I meant... He is too aggressive to play next to Zanetti. Paro is not good enough yet for Serie A. We need a better DM if we are going to play with an aggressive CM. Zanetti is not as good as he looks in Serie B. Paro is not ready, but does possess the skills required for an ideal Juventus CM. Sneijder would be an OK CM, but would be much more useful as a LM. Pace is good, but lack of it can be offset with a player like Chiellini. I would not be concerned with that. Like it or not, for now, Juventus still values a clean sheet over a high scoring win. Things are a lot different in Serie A.

That's some wishful thinking there, John :D. Though they do have complimentary characteristics, so in theory it could work.

By the way, it's 'Klaas', not Klass ;).

The Netherlands. I'm half dutch - half german.
I see, that somewhat explains the "I dislike Ajax players" part. :D

Back to topic, I'm interested, how many of you have heard of Luka Modric and what do you think of him (folks outside of Croatia of course)? A player I'd most definetly like to see in a black & white jersey one day...

I've also been thinking of a young brazilian named Kerlon. He is 19. Incredible skill. He is highly rated by a lot of major clubs. Could he too, be an option for the future?

Tony, i guess you like arguements and dont understand such humour as sarcasm. You already have a reputation of pro-italian and are an aggressive advocate of such things. You describe my comment as childish, i describe it as sarcastic.

You are right, i like the flash bang. But i play my football as a hard working player, and i love the battle. However when i see juve consigned to defeat due to our lack of ability to create when we most need it, relying on Dp/Neddy to create something, even i cry out for a fantasista or even a regista to do something more with the ball. Too many a time i have watched juve wanting more than just scrappy football. I remeber the old days of Lippi's trident and flair they had.

Do not come back with the arguement " support someone else" becuase it doesnt pass with me.

You know i agree with you on the matter of Donadel, however he is a viola player who looks to be happy there. He can even be described average.

Indeed sneijder could be labeled as too agressive. But neddy isnt going to be around forever. I like seeing my wingers tracks back thus allowing for a slightly more free central midfielder to get freedom to support the attack. Sneijder would b ideal for such midfield responsibilities. And Rambo would have been perfect for the role of left winger, with both good attacking/ defending qualites allowing for Chie overlaps.

Im also fully aware of the of clean sheets which i share. But by useing god awfull defenders such as Zebina et al requires two dmfs, i seem to wonder why not just use a good defender? Allow the team to go forward?! The further we press up the field the more time the defence has to organise. Being camped on our own 18 yards is poor tactics imho. Defending is the core of juve, but to release the pressure we have to be able to hold the ball up further the field and actually do something witht the ball.

And im fully aware of the differences in the Euro leagues. So please dont try and lecture me on juve or european football, as it holds no grounds.

He broke his leg and will find it hard to break into the first team again.

Heard of him and that is about it. I am curious to learn more.
I've rambled on about him quite a few times. :D You can read my short description about him here.

I'm really interested as to how many of you guys have heard about him, we have high hopes for him and I'm curious to know how far his name reached. After the Croatia-England match quite a few Brits remembered the name..
