Gerrard would be a great player on Juve. Lassana Diarra... I think that the jury is still out on him. Shows promise. But still needs to prove. Maybe he could prove himself here, but not at the expense of a top notch signing.
Lassana Diarra is a very good player. He is a Makelele clone in terms of his style of play and we all know how important he was for Madrid and is now for Chelsea. Think Chelsea rate him though so he could be tough to get.

I am not a fan of English players, but I can list 3 that I think are really quality. Gerrard, Carragher and Bellamy. Gerrard is a very smart player and would be an excellent addition. At the cost of Camo and Trez.... no, but if they want out anyways... then why not.
Bellamy is Welsh.

I'd take Gerrard in a heartbeat...even at the expense of Trez. Gerrard would guarantee us 20 goals a season. That's not to mention the number of assists and his overall leadership and performance that would just move our midfield from good to world class.

He would be a dream signing. If we can get him, one of Saviola/Klose/Huntelaar, and one of Heinze/Pepe/Samel plus another good CB then I'll be very happy with the job Secco and Bettega have done in terms of signings, and that squad would be ready to seriously challenge for Serie A.

I think we have the ability to sign these players. With the money we have now we can lure them away. I think it would be even worth it for Gerrard's wages. Yeah sure we have no CL blah blah blah... but with money we can persuade almost any player to join us. after all Money was the reason Cheslea rose to World Class status. I can't see why we can't do the same to attract big names.

Sneijder is very good, but I´m not sure he can play LM, one thing I´m sure is that Dominic won´t like this idea.

EDIT: There, I told you. :D

If Camo stays, we will have three natural RM's on the squad. Even if he leaves it would still be wise to pick up a LM or a SM that can play both. We don't have a backup to Nedved.
