Very good post and some valid points... except for the ones about cassano and the one saying boumsong is better suited to the prem, DID YOU SEE HIM PLAY FOR NEWCASTLE?????

We dont want Cassano because he is a loose cannon, leave him to inter, the moment they harmonise their dressing room they want to bring in a player who is uncontrollable, so far in his career only capello managed to keep him on the right track and look at him now! As for his talent, its unquestionable, he can produce an moment of brilliance and then follow it up with a moment of complete insanity.

The only time Cassano has actually impressed me was Euro 2004 when he scored a few goals and worked endlessly for the team and that was under trap, we could even bring trap back!

Actually I heard that he sucks as a full-back also. :D
I can asure you , that he doesn't..... Chelsea, was after him last summer, but they got Bhoularouz. He is a great full-back, in the shadow of that he is only 18 years old! :agree:
By the way... I doesn't want him to Juve, cause he is to expensive i think:D

I read Vanden Borre has a release clause of £3.5 (might have been 5.3, not 100% sure).
So not that expensive...

Also let me add, he IS NOT a bad player. He is just very young, so understandably due to his inexperience he is not that consistent in his performance. So he shouldn't be bought as a player for the first team, rather as a promising player for the future.

I want Barzagli or Gonzalo Rodriguez, Frings, and Klose or Toni.

Buffon
Grygera - Barzagli - someone - Chiellini
Camo - Frings - Paro - Nedved
Klose/Toni - Del Piero

Stuart, it's good to see you back.

Do you want an avatar? :p

It's good to be back I guess. I dunno if I'll be around full time though, just thought I'd pass through after seeing the highlights of yesterday's game.

Uhm, an avatar, sure :D Something cool looking with DP would be nice :)

For the future:

Name: Mario Gomez
Team: VfB Stuttgart
Position: Striker
Date of Birth: 10.07.85
Height: 1.89m
Weight: 85kg
Number: 33
Nationality: German/Spanish

He's the leading scorer of the Bundesliga, 2 more than Klose, very young....

Just watched lille-man u and Bodmer caught my eye.
He played in a central midfield position in the first half and did very well but in the second half the coach made a tactical change and he played a more advanced role and had a huge amount of influence on the game, his passing was great he was good on the ball made good and he was the key to lille's midfield (they were very unlucky not to get a result)

i think he would be a great addition next year to our team, he wouldnt be too expensive and is still pretty young, if anyone has an opinion on him i'd be glad to hear it because i have only seen him this one time

Hmz I think Bodmer did to many silly mistakes and in a club such as Juventus I would like world class in that particular position.

A player who really impressed me was Makoun, he looked like a young Makelele. Ran constantly for 90 minutes, played simple passes but also showed some good vision on occasion. To me he looked like the perfect DM, if he always plays this good DD should know his game and he should be a target.

After more thought and reading a bunch of posts I think we all know the main Juve prospects at CF and CB. But who is going to hold down the fort in the middle of the mid field? Paro and Zanetti aren't a solid duo for Serie A. Who are some central or defensive midfielders who would be a realistic goal for Juve?
