Yeah, like Makalele deserves so much respect after his performance against Monaco :groan:

I hate Makalele after what he did against Monaco, and Makalele did also provokate him, but seeing such a reaction from Rooney is just lame.

And I gotta say I didn't expect a reincarnation of Norway in the form of the English team. Defending with 10 men most of the game, shutting down shop completely. They have every right to do whatever works for them, but it's incredibly boring to watch and obviously really frustrating for everyone else. Once again I'm glad that the offensive game won.

Same here Martin. It gets pretty ridiculous after a while, and its great to see a team, after an hour of defending, give away the lead in the dying stages of the match.

England could have probably put the game away if Rooney would have PASSED the ball. It would have been an open net. Although none of that excuses England from missing the golden opportunity with the PK and letting up 2 goals in injury time. Damn, I really wanted France to lose...(Not saying that I like England, I just despise France)
