Hats down to France, what a come-back! 
Finally a game that stood-up to the name of EP! The English fans were already celebrating and I was thinking here we go France's WC saga all over again (not that I would be sad if it indeed happen 
), but then came Zidane's free kick, really an act that only a true champion can perform and England's ship began to drawn.

Yes, he is the best. I'd like to see Steven Gerrard of David Beckham do something so crucial like that in a match. Oh wait, Gerrard is too busy passing the ball back to a wide open Henry and Beckham misses a penalty. He said he struck it well, but it wasn't very well at all if Barthez could get his whole body in front of it.

Well, I think it was more down to luck than anything else, because France couldnt do anything for the entire 2nd half

It was a fantastic match though.
What a boring day in Portugal, only last few minutes brought some excitement. IMHO France still lacks DD and if they don't sort their midfield they won't be going too far. England, well one name tells the whole story of their finals - James.
Merk was a positive surprise in today's match though he mysteriously missed that clear penalty call. The hell is wrong with those ref-politics anyway, meaning Spain-Russia and Croatia-Swi'land, are they trying to ban every player for the second round.
