He’s a Brit living in Switzerland. Apparently he works in finance and does football analysis for fun. Thinks he needs it since he supports Arsenal (poor fellow).

Based on the info from Swiss Ramble it is clear that we are being held back by our TV revenue, sponsorship revenue and match day income in comparison to other elite teams. The revenue from Serie A is unbelievably low and the split seems to be getting worse.

The comments from Agnelli on the capital increase that we want to use it to purely increase our commercial revenue instead of repaying debt and the purchase of Ronaldo make even more sense now. It seems like that 300m issue could be make or break in our future, we need to find a way to generate more of a global audience.

We can't rely on selling top players every summer, although I still suspect that this is part of the strategy.

That’s what the most sane people here have been trying to tell the bandwagoners for years. We will never be able to reach other big teams unless drastic changes hits Serie A (and also the Italian Economy).

Tbh we are doing quite well at growing into global audience’s sight.

Our next step is to stop spending and paying silly wages to players that do not give us good performances/audience attraction. Players like Ramsay, rabiot, Matuidi, and Can are never going to get us any kind of global audience. None of these players would ever make it into the cover of Fifa or PES in the whole life.

fifa or PES would probably rather have Rigobert Song on their game cover than Can.
