If we wait for 4-5 yrs to renegotiate Adidas deal,we'd probably end up being Dortmund having to sell 2-3 players every yr.

Just to give some perspective,
Juve earn €47M from both shirt and kit sponsors.

Chelsea will be earning €130M from both their shirt and kit deals
You're right but there's nothing you can do about it. We agreed onto those terms and breaking those won't do us any good.

That's why we're building a young team - we aim to win the CL, because that's the only lift that's left for us. If we manage to win it, we should be able to join those teams despite those poor deals we've signed.

I think Bayern renegotiated their Adidas deal afaik despite having yrs running on their contract.

We cant stick with the same poor deals until 2020.
As i said wage cap will increase now with other top teams and players will leave even if we win cl if we cant offer wages appropriate to market conditions.

If we win CL, we'll have a decent argument in our hands to make it happen. Otherwise I don't see it.

FFP Implementation has done nothing to really level the playing field - if anything it widens it even more. If FFP was introduced before the Arabs took control of PSG or Man City - there is no way they would be where they are today.

Now if a wealthy investor buys Milan or another club, they won't be able to make the same kind of progress given how FFP works.

It is hard for any small club with small Revenues to ever be a big protagonist unless that small club is in the premier league and pulls off several freakish seasons (Leicester could get there but it would take a few more miracles).

Iirc in our contract with Adidas there are variable payments as well, depending on the shirt sales. We also have 25-30 other sponsors/partners like Bwin, Samsung, Phillips, Goodyear, etc... and this is where we may improve our income as well, by attracting more lucrative sponsors.

Milan aren't in Europe.FFP wont be that much of a problem for them initially under new ownership.
They already make €200M a yr without CL.I dont think it'd affect them much.

When we had that, I had ignorant fucks annoying me all the time, claiming Milan is the greatest Italian club (because of their 7 CLs). I don't miss those times. Fuck Milan!

Roma has the potential. They are a bigger brand than PSG or City was before Arabs, and perhaps even Chelsea before Abramovich.
Yeah, you got Barca fans saying their club is the biggest in Spain because Real won most of its trophies under Franco dictatorship, which is also bullshit, but who the fuck cares! They both earn ridiculous money from TV rights and can attract every player they want almost.

Roma is a small club globally, that won't change. Milan is a great club with a great history and brand, huge global fanbase abd potential to be a top 10 club in Europe easily. The best Roma can do is the occasional QF finish in CL

Roma and Napoli will never be a competitive long term rival for us
They are and always will be provincial teams.

Its like almost certain now that Milan will get bought out by the Chinese.

They are the same like all those BL clubs, can compete for some years but then disappear. Milan is the only great club in Italy besides us, inter too but they are something like Arsenal, always up top but never winning anything

Tell me this, as a Juve fan were you happier in 2000-2006 or in 2012-2016?
I know rivalry is good, feels better to beat the strong blah blah, but nothing feels better than dominance over EVERYONE!
That's my opinion. Fuck Milan! They didn't give a shit about a strong Juve, hell they benefited the shit out of our absence. And so shall we, long may their misery continue.

I was pro-Serie A before 2006, not anymore. If it costs us a little money wise, so be it, nothing feels better than Karma's wrath on those fucks who conspired to destroy us for good.

If our teams start to get real serious about EL. Between us, germains and all this new coach in EPL, Spain mid-table teams would be shit in that competition.

In the case UCL, I think is up to us and BM to end their reigned. Then they would have to do more dirty business to even trying to get even. Money laundering and tax evasión would no longer be enough.

I love the domination. But it would be nice if the other Serie A teams did better in Europe or were stronger in general. Having a stronger Serie A is good for Juve in the long run. don't forget that a huge chunk of our revenue still comes from our share of Serie A TV rights.

Roma and Napoli are highly likely to be LESS competitive next year as they will probably lose some influential players - while we are probably going to be stronger.

Its a bit like Formula 1. If Mercedes keeps dominating for another couple of years, then no-one will care about F1.

Its hard to compare this Juve with the 2000-2006 period. We dominate more now compared to then but in that period we are up against teams that had players like Ronaldo, Vieri, Totti (prime), Batistuta, Schevchenko, Kaka etc

I liked Serie A quite a bit more when there were strong Milanese clubs involved. We need at least strong Milan to make this league more appealing to foreign viewers. Fuck Inter, but their fanbase isn't negligible and could help to improve Serie A's production value.

Napoli and Roma have always been irrelevant.

I checked followers on facebook and Milan still has more than us (24 milion to 23 milion), even after such a long period of mediocricity. That club has so much potential, its a miracle how they became so mediocre. Inter only has 5 milion (wtf) while Roma has 7 milion. I think Serie A would be just fine with Juve, Milan, Roma, Napoli as top4 clubs

always  what was milan pre berlusconi?
berlusconi bought milan in '86. before that, milan won 10 scudetti (8 with berlusconi) and 4 italian cups (1 with berlusconi). milan won 4 european cups (cl's) with him, 2 ec's and 2 cup winners' cups without him.

i'll let you decide what was milan before berlusconi.

2 times European champion and 10 times Serie A champion?
 yeah, i'm too slow again.
