Tricky, but those 6CL's they had back then did alot for their brand worldwide
see? With all their CLs, stars, fancy-footers and shit... they were just on par with us. It means we have more natural international appeal than them.
They will be forgotton completely and replaced by Roma in 5 years time, watch and see.

The reason i said "tricky" is because we were the best team in the world in the 90ties decade. Before that Milan was MUCH bigger then us cause they were so far ahead of anyone in the 80ties decade it was unfair.

what are you talking about, man. We had freaking Michel Platini back then and CL wasn't even that popular before 90s. No way they were bigger.

Anyway, let's agree to disagree.

Milan won 3 titles in the 80ties. Despite Platini beeing far superior then any offensive player Milan had in that decade, getting 3 titles brings you more reputation and appeal.

Jerseys does not equal more presence. We are (much) bigger than Inter globally, it's just that for some reason over the past few years, Nike barely promoted our jerseys and apparel in their stores. Expect that to chance massively with adidas.
Surely if more Chinese and Koreans are wearing Inter/Milan merchandise that means they have a bigger appeal in this side of the world than us currently? Nike don't promote Inter in their stores either, yet I still see more of their gear than ours.

It all comes down to winning the CL or going far in the CL consistently.

I wouldn't go by how many people you'd see on the street,
I'd go by surveys, and the last one I saw indicated that in the Far East, only Milan were more popular than us (out of Serie A teams) and not by a huge margin either. Need to track it down again.

@Emmet

Juve earned 60m from sponsorship and advertising (Fiat gave us 7-8m bonus IIRC for our historic achievement last season, 3rd title in a row after 70 years and record number of points) and 27m from other revenues (memberships, museum, media library...), totaling 87m from commercial activities for the 2013/14. Year before we earned 70m, in 2011/12 72m, in 2010/11 63m, etc...

The gap between Juve and some of the best clubs around is significant, but for us that means we have plenty of room to improve further.
