Juventus increase revenue and debt
By Football Italia staff

Juventus released their financial report to June 2014 with a marked increase in revenue, but still running at a loss of €6.7m.
The Bianconeri are to consider this an improvement, as in 2012-13 the club ran at a loss of €15.9m.
Revenue increased by €32m this year to €315.8m, an 11 per cent improvement, however the Bianconeri are in debt to the tune of €206m compared to €160.3m in June 2013.
Some of that is down to investment in the Continassa construction project, which plans to form a training ground, hotel and Concept store behind the Juventus Stadium.

206M debt...geez that will take like forever to eliminate. It is possible?. it is just getting bigger
If we meet CL targets, will run a profit this season + increased sponsership starting next summer.

Yes its possible but it will take a very long time

So we almost doubled our revenue in 3 years. I'd say that's pretty good. If we keep going at the same rate, we should have about 350~ mil revenue this year, could be more if we get to QF or Semi's in the CL. Especially after napolis exit and maybe roma too.

it's crazy to think that we posted a (small) loss because of the huge IRAP tax we had to pay.
What a fucking place we live in, the taxman rapes you from behind all the time

Milan still have more lucrative sponsorship deals, but we're catching up in that department. Milan is still a bigger brand.

Their shitty stadium has 80k capacity, vs Juve they earned more than 3.2m. Juve's highest gate receipts from single Serie A game wasn't more than 1.8m.

As I've said the increase is mostly due to great transfer campaign. What I do like is that our Other revenues have been increasing every year. Few years ago we netted 7-8m, while last season we earned 27m. Museum, media library, memberships, etc...
I read somewhere that they pay €13m p/a to rent the San Siro.

Because they are.

Having lived in China and now Korea I've seen way more people with Milan gear on than ours. Inter even have a bigger presence over here than us.

why do people keep saying Milan are a bigger brand than us. Based on fuckin what?
We are bigger in Italy but internationally we aren't we need a few good season in CL even a trophy to further strengthen our brand internationally. We are on the right way but not quite there yet

Jerseys does not equal more presence. We are (much) bigger than Inter globally, it's just that for some reason over the past few years, Nike barely promoted our jerseys and apparel in their stores. Expect that to chance massively with adidas.
