Oh, believe me, I have had enough EPL that I could shat out more quality than a Spurs-West Brom match. The EPL was the only football I could watch until last year. Luckily the satellite was made so that I could watch better games in other leagues, as well as my Juventus.

La liga better players??? I can only say Real Madrid and Barca got the players...

I propose a contest... post an EPL first 11, minus players from the top 3 in the League, let me post a La Liga first 11, minus players from the top 3 in the Laegue. Let's compare both teams and let the entire forum decide which is better.

To be quite honest, I doubt most managers would really be sure about that, much less random fans who don't watch much of at least one of those leagues.

What hype? I've never heard anyone compair the lower levels of those two leagues, though I have occasionally heard people remark about the falloff in quality as you go down La Liga.

I guess the only real measure we have is the relative successes of the various smaller clubs in Europe. Anyone care to dig up the figures?

Come on Burke, the EPL isnt that bad. Chelsea is bloody brilliant, but i would critize a leauge that actually allowed a team to go unbeaten a whole season (as stunning as arsenal were)
