Finished 2-2, Ireland scored a pen and free kick. They were extremely physical, very 'British' style with balls into the channel, set pieces and crosses. Italy were a little disjointed in the final third.

Verratti ended up getting sent off at the end when Italy were trying to score the winner.

I was going to say before, keep an eye on this De Luca kid from Varese. I remember when we played them in Viareggio and he destroyed us on his own. Talented player.
