You know what? It's not fair.
It's not fair that the Son of God came to earth as a human and lived a sinless life, but was crucified so that the enemies of God could have salvation. That is love, and that is the Gospel.
But that's the system that God instituted from Old Testament times: an innocent life taking the punishment for the sins of another person. But all of the sacrifices that were made couldn't save people from their sins, because they'd keep sinning and have to make up for their sins over and over again. So God set the sacrifical system in place to foreshadow what was to come: the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus that could take away sins in the past, present and future.
Hebrews 10:1-4 - The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. If it could, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins. But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins, because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
The apostle Paul asked the same rhetorical question:
Romans 10:13-15 - for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
The implication of this is that people need to hear the Gospel, which is why Christians do global missions to unreached people.
However:
Romans 1:18-21 - The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
But honestly, I think the "what about ____ people" question is a bit pointless to ask from the point of view of someone like you, who has heard about Jesus.
