Most sources now suggest it's Koop or no one for us. We don't want anybody else (in that position). Brace yourselves for McKennie as CAM.
So be it.
You either pay up or walk away if you think the price is too high.

Sidenote: McKennie going from having to leave at all costs to being our Koopmeiners alternative would be hilarious.

This saga is getting boring.
Is there any plan B? Yildiz as CAM and we need a winger so.
I wish we still had Allegri. He'd just slide Yildiz inside and move Cambiaso up to the wing to pair opposite Weah.

Problem solved ---- plus, the money saved would give Giuntoli incredible financial flexibility moving forward.

From what I understand it’s Atalanta stalling this deal. Player has said he wants to leave, doesn’t train anymore, hands in sick notes, they are close to getting the offer they want and it still is blocked. I dislike Giun-tuli but I feel Atalanta are the problem instead of us

How do you think this saga will end? And what do you think the other sporting directors in Italy say about Junktoki behind closed doors (or to his face)
I really don't know how he will close it, if he drops his targets and buys from abroad he will show strength. He will show stubbornness and that he gets what he wants. The other directors will realize that they missed out.

If he continues and overpays then they will continue to treat him like this. We'll see, it's only a few days more now.

I agree. We should have dropped both Koop and Gonzalez weeks ago when it was abundantly clear that they will play hardball with us and try to milk us as hard as possible.

Our best and quickest deals have come when buying from abroad (so far)

Yep if we like somebody in Serie A we should a plan B and a plan C because they all hate us and see us as calcio's cash cow ready to burst with milk.

There are good players in the league but we overpay loads, increasing the risk we take. Who's the last high-profile guy we bought from Italy and it worked out well? Dybala I guess?

Vlahovic remains to be seen, Chiesa has melted. Locatelli was sought after but he also still needs to prove himself. It's the lower key Serie A signings we make who work out well. We should shop for our stars elsewhere.
