Because they not keen to sell a player they have on contract until 2028?
No I'm just sick of their extortion and unreasonable, yet unprofessional tactics. I wished the same about sassuolo for years. Would love to see a similar fate to a number of other Italian teams, atalanta included.

It's always a price for Juve, and something else for everyone else. Fuck them all!

You fuck them all by moving to other targets. Don't have to play their extortion games.

Arsenal are signing Merino for 30m. Tho is not as attacking as Koop, but still similar type of nr 8 type of all around mid, and 30m for high level mid like that is extremely good deal.

Yeah I don’t get the fixation on him. Move on already. He’s not worth it.

I rate Koop, think he is better then most realise. But the price was already getting too high, and after a month of not going anywhere with negotiations, it's time to move on to other good options before it's way too late. It's only 8 days left of market.

I have no objections about Koop, I was already wanting him when he was at AZ, however I'd like to have gone for Samardzic for a more reasonable price than pay over the odds for Koop and most probably have kept Soule still. But since we have a lack of options, almost no time left, already sold assets we are all in on Koop now, just adds to my frustration for Giuntoli.

It's already too late.

What names on the market should they pivot to? We're already on like plan J, K, and L for wingers and have failed to sign 1 yet this summer, and we signed Lukuku after missing on big fish like Calafiori/Todibo.

I'd rather stay all in on the #1 target since day one than pivot to a bunch of mediocre backup plans ---- especially when the difference is only a few million Euros.

But this is what you frequently see with incompetent clubs run by incompetent people

Yep. At this point the best move would be for us to abandon all negotiations and leave them with a majorly disgruntled player on their hands…and also with €60m less in their pockets.

Sign two wingers, another attacking style CM and be done with it. All outside of Serie Ass as of course.

Udinese would have played the same games as Atalanta and Fiorentina.

I’m willing to bet he’s not coming here. I can totally see Atalanta shipping Lookman for 50M to PSG or Arsenal and keeping an unhappy Koopmeiners just to prove a point.

Maybe next time we stop shopping in Serie A and focus on other leagues where teams don’t hate you with a passion.

As great as Koopmeiners is, and he is one of the best players in Serie A, we probably should have walked away weeks ago. I mean, how much time do you need to conclude a deal that is satisfactory to both clubs?

In the end, we'll just pay what Atalanta wants though. They, just like everyone else, know we're that desperate.

Should Juve make the same money offer for Lookman? I think he’s more keen on leaving, Atalanta probably won’t let both of them leave
Scamacca is injured, their strength of squad in offensive phase would be declined with selling Koop since Atalanta is presenting in 3 competitions. It is normal that they don't intend to sell a player who has long term contract. Atalanta still able to sell him next year.
