It's like the elephant in the room no one wants to acknowledge. But if Gasperini routinely makes his players overperform from their usual level anywhere else?
How about just get Gasperini instead? Crazy thought I know lol, but seems like he has figured how to make a system that gets the best out of his players, whoever they are.
i like gasp. he's a juventino too. i'd easily give him two years to work. at least he's extremely demanding and his atalanta is always very well prepared physically. both would be an upgrade over the current regime, both coaching and physical preparation
his doubters have a few good points though. since he's very demanding and an older dude himself, he's a bitch to work with. he had beefs with a few players, it's not a surprise that his team is always changing with only a few constant regulars. he also failed to win coppa finals in italy, although they were considered the underdogs against both lazio and pirloventus. so he often gets labeled as a loser. (i don't think those comments are fair though, since he usually has a relatively cheap squad without star players.) he never worked with strong personalities on the long run either.
his short spell at inda is often mentioned as an argument against him. i'd completely ignore that experience as that club was a mess when he coached them.
anyway, koopmeiners looks like a good player. not for current "let's try to not lose this match" allegri obviously, but with a coach focusing on playing forward i do think he could be useful
