i dint see any preseason matches either but can some1 tell me plz wheather are formation looked strong or if it was weak

We have improved a lot through pre season, especially due to Zanetti being brought into the side to offer extra stability.
We are created a decent number of chances without playing great.
We are looking OK defensively though individual mistakes and our defenders not being used to playing together has cost us.

it doesn't seem like Camo or Marco are gonna start anytime soon, specially Marco... so Hasan should be able to fill that gap... Salihamidzic can offer us alot, we just gotta use him right.....i just hope he doesnt become our new Mutu.
another thing, Tiago and almiron can play together. they just need time.

well if camo is not going to be fit for the first game then i am willing to go with the 4-3-3 basically, as i dont think Brazzo is more effective coming on from the bench instead of starting

Although i dont like playing with this formation but i think camo is essential in the 442 formation and if hes not fit then we should play with this one.
The formation needs hard work from all the 5 attacking players and when it doesn't work out we could simply introduce Brazzo and switch to a 442 and he will be more effective as he will be running on a bit more tired defenses.
I am also interested in how we are going to play defensively...What is Claudio's approach? defending from the front with pressure all over is the way to go imo as we do not have a strong defense that could soak up pressure.

Ranieri is making a mistake playing Nocerino at RW. Nocerino is a destroyer. He should be starting, but in the central midfield. He is more influencial than Almiron or Zanetti. Personally, I would like to see a central midfield of Nocerino and Zanetti of Cagliari. They are an aggressive team and we don't need to increase our attacking play with a playmaker in the center. Having Camo and Nedved on the wings, with DP behind Trez is enough for Cagliari. Plus, neither Almiron or Tiago have shown much in the past few games to make me think they deserve to start. Nocerino and Zanetii have been better. Reward them with the start.
i didn't say he played badly quite the opposite, he played well imo.Remember this is his first ever game in serie A and he played it like hes been there for years.Ofcourse he won't be as effective as camo but he did well overall.
The difference between him and zanetti is experience obviously and thats why zanetti gets the edge in my books and many others' as well. IMO cristiano is essential for the midfield atm and nocerino will get a lot of games this season but we have to be careful with his development and not throw him into the fire straight away

I can't agree. Nocerino is talented, but as long as Zanetti is fit, he should be untouchable.
Our midfield, without Almiron will look very stale and uninspiring. Almiron is the key to our current possesion-play. Newly built teams such as ours usually lack a playing style and lack fluency, this is where we benefit greatly from having a playmaker in Almiron to give the team some shape.

I can agree with that, but Almiron really didn't do what he should have in the first game. Nocerino, Nedved, and Zanetti performed well against Livorno and should not lose their starting spots. Since it is Cagliari and Nocerino is on a roll right now, I would like to see him start over Almiron or Zanetti. Against Milan or Inter... we will have to see how the season shakes out. I am not one to foam over youngsters, but Nocerino is already at a level where he is capable of starting on almost any team.
We have a good problem and it will only get better once Tiago finds his form. But, right now, I want to see Nocerino play against lower teams. He could be the best destroyer in the world in due time. Playing him on the wing, or sitting him when it isn't neccessary will only delay his development. Zanetti or Almiron can afford to be late substitutions in the Cagliari game.
