I got sick of this thread a long time ago . The same ideas keep getting repeated again and again . The same people consistently post their same formation over a hundred times .

looks alright to me if you have the ball but our midfield lacks a player who can get the ball, needs a DM

That's more or less the problem of the whole squad, isn't it. Zanetti or Nocerino might do the job, but we still cannot be sure that they do it successfully.

I would go with that, except I prefer Grygera to Zebina.

I just hope we play a destroyer because I don't think a Tiago/Almiron partnership does enough defensively.

We had Zanetti and Nocerino out there at the same time and our attack was phenomenal.

I agree, i just hope we always play at least one because we need it defensively, if the are good in attack it is a bonus.

I think the mistakes were more due to the players not having much of an understanding yet, rather than the players not being good enough.

That's funny. Almiron is not an offensive midfielder, for the 88748676716354th time. He is a deep-lying playmaker, get that into your head. And we don't need two defensive midfielders all the time. Stop trying to cram as many Italians as possible into a side.

why grygera, coz we need to have our center/right side defence stronger
and for that reason, am moving Camo this much forward since his back is fully covered.

Nocerino position should be fixed..

nedved can move to the left or to the center

pirlo has some defensive ability though. I don't see the same characteristics in almiron. I don't see him coming back and helping out defensively. Tiago is more capable under that type of role.

Why does everyone think Andrade is too slow? I think has been perfectly Ok, considering he is still settling into the team and the country.

Pace is not essential for a CB, as long as their positioning is good, which I believe Andrade's is. Also Criscito is quick and so can help cover if Andrade does get caught out.

I Love it, but I fear that if we start Del Piero, we won't see his best for 90 minutes.
