Allegri would be so proud of you
It takes a couple of months at least for a coach to get the players needed to fit into his system. it's still not decided whether chiesa will stay or leave and we don't know that which players he includes in his plan.

bologna played with the formation 4-1-4-1 and 4-2-3-1 last year under Motta. I think he picks the same system for this year.

Koopmeiners, Kostic, Chiesa and Todibo as Wingers(LW and RW), Vla and Milik two Cfs, Danilo covers RB , Gatti as sub in CB/RCB. Cabal covers LCB with moving to LB, but also CB cover.

If we can't get the wingers but we'll manage to sign Koopmeiners, what do you guys think of playing 4-3-1-2? Cambiaso and Weah to provide width as FBs. We have plenty of CMs to play in the middle, Koop for the AM with DV9 and Yildiz upfront.

pre season matches exposed Motta's tactic and plan, from the way of arrangement and the role that each player took. Altough the team is far from what it should be and mercoto still is not over.

RB: 1. Danilo - 2. Savona
RCB: 1. Bremer - 2. Gatti
LCB: 1. Kalulu - 2. Cabal
LB: 1. Cambiaso - 2. Rouhi
Another Plan:
RB: 1. Danilo - 2. Savona
RCB: 1. Bremer - 2. Gatti
LCB: 1. Kalulu - 2. Rugani
LB: 1. Cambiaso - 2. Cabal 3. Rouhi

so let's suppose mombly gets it right (lol) and it'll be 4-1-4-1

interesting. as far as the lineup itself goes, that's the least defending juventus i can remember. even lippi put 2 or even 3 defense minded midfielders on the pitch, and late '90s juve was playing to win. and of course tactics can be different. at first sight it looks like we aim to dominate the middle of the pitch

Totally agree!
the only sad part is our striker, Vlahovic.
I am not sure why is football still producing such strikers. They are rendered redundant in modern football. The only success case is haaland and it is because his teammates lay balls on plate for him.

these days there are only two kinds of 9s. False9 AKA firmino, or speedy winger turned striker Mbappe.

I would simply say that we could get Ivan Toney, Greenwood, Rashford, Diaby and they would all be more effective than Vlahovic in scoring or creating goals

Just please less of the 3 CB’s setup in buildup phase and transitions, lots of the sideways and backwards passes to them is because they are almost always open and on advanced positions so they tend to get too much time on the ball that results into nothing.

- - - Updated - - -

Also using at least one proper overlapping fullback to support the wingers i think is much needed to create width.
