today was a special day as the training was open for the media, so there are plenty of vids and pics on twitter. this is probably the most interesting one: 4-3-3 was experimented with @MikeM

They could be using that to pressure the defence for the defensive training

maybe it will be used when we need 1 or 2 goals in the last 30 minutes
or a bit more to properly accommodate chiesa, who's playing fine lately in a more or less free role on the left, but a 4-3-3 would surely suit him better

too bad we don't really have fullbacks for a 4 man backline. kostic isn't one, cambiaso might be, on the right there's literally no one besides danilo (who's probably better as a cb at the moment), just makeshift solutions

You seem confused. Or totally oblivious to the fact that a balance is needed in real life football.
Honestly, it's FIFA nonsense

I also dont understand the obsession with wanting to change the formation and how we play when Allegri finally found something that works, has the entire team bought in, and has Juve top of the table

If Juve extend Chiesa and keep Soule, I could absolutely see transitioning into a 4-3-3 or something with 3 attacking players down the road.... it would provide 2 playmaking wingers, but would still provide the defensive coverage Allegri wants.... and you'd actually have the depth required (something you wouldnt have switching to a 4-2-3-1)

the idea of 4-2-3-1 is laughable for so many reasons
