As for the Roma match, Juve were abysmal. BUT, they were still only one miraculous save from Szczznyyzzz (?) away from drawing that match. To me that doesnt say Juve are in trouble, but instead tells me that Roma on their best day is only as good as 10 man Juve at their absolute worst. When this team kicks into gear and gets healthy, They will absolutely steamroll through the rest of Italy. Juve's "B" starting XI right now is probably the 2nd or 3rd best team in Italy on paper.

morata instead manzu

dybala instead hernanes
and we have sturaro and pereyra as back up if khedira and hernanes get injured or lose form.

But the literal core is still Italian :touched:
Thats why I want Darmian and Verratti, the quality italians should play for Juve, even more so when they are getting so rare.

Also our backup/rotation players should be able to find good enough players for. Not Padoin peasant level, but Candreva types (before they cost too much).

P.S I allways wanted to see an injury free Giuseppe Rossi in our shirt, would be nice player to have as option if he wasnt so crippled.

Most foreign Juve of all time.
you forgotten rugani, sturaro, berardi, zaza all of them are for future they have a bright future ahead of them for years to come like what we did about clu and leo
leo was 23 when we signed him.Marchisio has been here since his youth days.

Still, it's a fact that this seasons squad has the least amount of Italians in it ever according to CDS.

Well, our backup/rotation options are in decent parts Italian (Sturaro, Rugani, later Berardi, even Zaza) ;)

One thing with Italy though is they'll continue producing quality defenders (compared to the rest of Europe) and grinta midfielders. That won't change.
But the obviously the offensive part is a complete horror show for Italy.
They need a Verratti level talent in offense otherwise I'm afraid, they won't achieve much in major tournaments.
Berardi isn't a Verratti level talent in my opinion.

He isn't, but he is fantastic enough to do real damage, but he needs to get the chance to. For us and the Azzurri. Talents like Insigne and Bernardeschi are better then most realize too, just need to be used right and trusted.

Insigne is a nice player, but I feel this is the wrong generation for him.

The bolded bits should not be placed in the same sentence, my dear friend. :p

Teams like Sassuolo put faith in home grown talent. They should somehow be awarded. A top club like Juve can't put the same amount of trust into playing talents. We need to win all the time, and for that we need the best players. If we truly want Italians, and we do, we must encourage smaller clubs to play and develop them. Forza Sassuolo!

He is an old-fashioned footballer. He isn't built for the strong and fast football of today. Forced out on the left, some ten years ago he would've been a free roaming supporting forward, playing between the lines.

Maybe Berardi just needs to move to a big club to flourish like Koala?
