turkish friend said an ISIS terror attack was carried out in Istanbul minutes ago but so many things are happenning at the same time it's hard to tell

guess he knows more than me. on TV they didn't mention a terror attack/ISIS.

on TV they are making it sound like the military might be split into two groups or that it's only a part of the military.
even read on CNN parts of the military hold other military groups hostage. anyways, looks like a big mess.

good thing my parents came back 2 days ago flying from Istanbul.

That's what Erdogan says. He's attributed it to a minority "Gulenists" in the military.
