Before all this started in Syria, I never ever imagined that Assad could pull such criminal acts. It was expected with someone like Gaddafi, but Assad? No way.
His father was smarter than him politically and much better when making speech or preaching.

Bashar and Maher his brother were both soldiers commanders when their father was the President. Maher is currently the leader of the fourth armored division (the most dangerous group of criminal soldiers and the toughest in Syria).

So it's in the family, maybe because you weren't too familiar with Hafez acts.

I know personally many people whose relatives left to Syria before years and never came back. Even in the Syrian Tv series they used to mention how horrible their security forces are, maybe to scare people more and more.

So, the Soviet Union is giving Assad carte blance to do whatever he pleases to his people, with full protection at the UN....how convenient :(

The Soviets and Iranians are supplying weapons and support to Assad, as well as there being a Soviet aircraft carrier and battle group on the waters near the Syrian shore, on the ready for any country who dares try to stop the murderous force of Assad.

The bad news for the Syrian people is that NObama has told the Arab leaders of the world that the US will not intervene in Syria, or give any of the Arab countries support in their attempts to protect the people of Syria...... once again, the mighty old US of A is being punked off by Iran, and the Soviets as well

In a bizarre twist, the rebels are getting help from Al-Qaeda, who have committed terror attacks against the Syrian police/security forces, with the full backing of Al-Zawahiri, the new leader of the organization since Bin Laden was killed.

Im having a hard time trying to decide whos worse, Al Qaeda or Iran......probably Iran, since they are 99.999% nuclear capable (if not now, they will be in the coming month)

Not true.... Saudi Arabia requested the help of Al-Zawahiri to assist the rebels in Syria. Al-Zawahiri sent Al-Qaeda fighters from Iraq, who have been committing terror acts inside of Syria. If you watched his latest speech, he is calling for Al-Qaeda fighters from all Arab states to travel to Syria and fight against Assad, and remove him from power. There are definitely more Al-Qaeda fighters from Iraq on the way, which is why the terror attacks have dropped in the past week inside of Iraq. They have a new war to fight.

    What do you mean?
self-explanantory, Kyle. This is why you will see Israel attack Iran much sooner than later, without the hinderance of NObama

    Cool story bro :p

No but on a more serious note, the Al Qaeda story was used in Libya as well, and we kept on hearing about it throughout the revolution, now 4 months into the liberation of Libya, and there still has been no trace of Al Qaeda. Its BS in Syria as well, sure some of the people that are fighting the Syrian regime could be former Al Qaeda members(Some fought the Libyan regime) but i doubt they're anything more than a meaningless minority. But the story is being advocated by the Syrian regime to scare the West and try and stop them from supporting the rebels.

Ya thats funny. Like the Saudi government or hate it, if you know anything about Al Qaeda and the Saudi government, you'd know that Nazi's and Jews would conspire together before the former two conspire together :D

you can thank NObama for not intervening in Syria on behalf of the Syrian people......he is trying to "negotiate" with Iran on their nuclear ambitions by offering to let Assad stay in power in Syria......

and btw- the story about Al-Quada assisting the rebels in Syria is true

Like i said, it is possible that there are some Al Qaeda elements within the Syrian rebels but i doubt they're anything more than a meaningless minority. Al Qaeda has been a long time enemy of Arab regimes, as the latter has done a lot to fight Al Qaeda. Also, the revolution in Syria probably means more to fundamentalists like Al Qaeda(sectarian reasons).

Still, its hardly a reason not to assist the Syrian rebels. Like in Libya, i am completely against a ground intervention, or troops being deployed in Syria. But i am completely with assisting the rebel army(Free Syrian Army) in any way. Be it by a no fly zone like Libya, or by arming the rebels.

@Deneb, what is it exactly that this Syrian regime has done against Zionist occupation? Whatever it is they've done or are doing, is it reason enough to let Bashar the criminal just butcher his people like that.
