Absolutely historic mercato if there was any financial scudetto we would have won it. Reducing the wage bill getting rid of the Deadwood like ramsey and princess Dybala. JJ is finally back to challenge for the titles.

I'll stick with a 6.

This rating could increase or decrease depending on how the new arrivals perform.

I don't like the fact that we are relying on a 34 year old winger and an injury prone midfielder to be our main sources of creativity.

I also don't like the fact that our fullback situation wasn't handled adequately.

But I do like the fact that we have a much improved squad compared to last year and should be good enough to challenge for the league or even win it.

Good job in getting rid of the fodder else my rating would've been lower.

5,5 for me.

Some excellent outgoing deals, obviously.
But the Dybala situation was a complete mess.

A lot of the incoming deals are, at best, questionable.

All things considered, I just don't know if we really have a better team than last year. But we're obviously in a difficult (financial) situation, so we have to be realistic.
The fact that Miretti & Fagioli are still here right now is a major surprise to me. We'll see how well they'll end up doing, but I'd rather give those guys a chance than the likes of "insert random, average 28 yeard old player".

Up until yesterday, I would have gone for 4,5, I think. But seeing Arthur leave, even if it's just for one season, warrants at least an extra point.

Outgoings:

Matthijs de Ligt - Expected a better fee, yes the player wanted to go but considering his age we should have got little more.
Merih Demiral - Good deal, what I liked about this is that there were rumours Atalanta were not interested, probably trying to bring the price down, at the end they came for him anyway.
Arthur Melo - A deadline day to remember, im personally ecstatic he left even if on loan.
Denis Zakaria - Unfortunately a deal we had to make especially as the offer was too good.
Paulo Dybala - Gone, but i'm not sure we got an adequate replacement, we dont really have an attacking centre forward or midfielder. Miretti is a good shout but risky. I'm not too upset by this, I think we played our cards, time will tell how this ends.
Federico Bernardeschi - Good riddance
Aaron Ramsey - Applauds, woohooo!
Giorgio Chiellini - Sad to see him go, I don't think we planned him leaving. It's not about players leaving as much as its about planning ahead.
Nicolò Rovella - Unfortunate, but I think loan is the best thing for him right now.
Luca Pellegrini - An opportunity to learn, we said the same thing about de sciglio when he went to france. Heres hoping Luca actually learns or increases his value.
Álvaro Morata - Yes, glad his gone.

I'd give this 8/10

Incomings:

Bremer - Good signing.
Filip Kostic - Decent
Arkadiusz Milik - underwhelming, future deadwood.
Paul Pogba - gamble, high wages, injury prone was it really worth it?
Ángel Di María - Great stop gap, doesn't get any better.
Leandro Paredes - Time will tell, future deadwood.
Fabio Miretti - Super excited thank you Juve Next Gen!
Nicolò Fagioli Super excited thank you Allegri
Federico Gatti - Good signing.

4.5/10

Now What did we strength and weaken.

GK - No change
DF - Weakened
MF - Strengthened
AT - Slightly Strengthend

Midfield is the only area to rave about, i'm really worried about our defence, we're gonna suffer badly.

Overall - 6/10

5/10
If Pogba and Paredes turn out good it's a 7/10.

Glad we got rid of that salary black hole de Ligt and strengthened with Bremer a much better player, while making fools of merda in the process
Highlight of the Mercato for me.

4.5

Was originally 3.4 but the Arthur and Zakaria deals were good so I'll give it more.

We are weak at LB, RB, LW, RW, GK and CB.

We went cheap in an attempt to fix midfield and it might come back to haunt us. Pogba coming back reminds me of the signings Milan used to make during their downfall. Could go either way.

Kean, Rabiot, Alex Sandro, McKennie, DS, Rugani and Sir Chesney are weak. That's alot of dead weight we didn't address.

Kostic, Gatti, Bremer, Di Maria and keeping Miretti and Fagioli are positives but are not guarantees either.

Paredes and Milik were somewhat cheap solutions that could potentially work out in our favour but cast more doubt.

Over all I'd say below average because the team still feels unbalanced and some serious weak spots were not addressed.

:D

Curious to know what kind of mercato those giving it lower than 5 did expect, coming from an utter failed season with half the team dead and depressed, and given that we are not Barca, PSG or City.
