They left a spot available I thought for the CL list but as you said the mercato wasn’t to bad just our whole team is injured

We’ve always had many injuries but I can’t remember the last time we had this many. The problem only got worse.
I think they filled this spot with Ake but it’s fine we can easily remove him. Even Chiesa was included because for the first time since ever we had 4 HG players+Soulé in the B list.

By the way this mercato is not looking bad at all. Our coach and medics are the reasons behind our abysmal start (Plus the refereeing in a couple of games), but if we continue to suck and change the coach and medics I think we are one proven coach (Zidane please) and 2 or three additions -fullbacks and wings- from dominating Italy and winning the league.
Bremer Milik Paredes and to a lesser Kostic extent are good additions+Pogba and Di Maria hopefully. Miretti is also doing well and I have high hopes for Fagioli and Gatti.
Even just new medics and coaching team. Any half-decent coach would walk Serie A with our squad (if they were fit most of the time).

just checked the ratings and was kinda surprised. there are some positive signs like the lower wage bill or keeping miretti but the overall strength of the team didn't change too much. di maria replaces dybala, neither of them are much better than the other. di maria fits 4-3-3 better, dybala could potentially create more. bremer replaces de ligt, not a clear downgrade, certainly not a huge upgrade. two physical beasts with some hardwired clumsiness. pogba replaces ramsey, oh well, similar salary with similar availability, what an upgrade lol. we lost chiellini, oldies got older, rabiot is still just as motivated as he was, etc. kostic is the only player who is potentially an upgrade but we'd need an actual attacking system to explore his potential.

4.5 mercato at best in my book

No transfer campaign is going to compensate for incompetence at the front of the house.

I stand with my 6.5, particularly around getting rid of deadweight.

On paper, this team is way better than the sh*t sausage it's producing now.
not just paper. these players were functioning team players in their teams before they came here except pogba.

sure, some of them have too high wages. but still the reason in beginning for high wages is because they are higher standard of players than fiorentina, empoli or salerntina.

so as u said, the problem starts at the top. if the general is weak, the soldiers will also be weak
