Exactly, the fuck are people thinking the other teams in Serie A look like? Like they have world class talent on the bench. On paper we do look the best in the league. Injuries will force us to play our jabronis but we still should be a title contender in a weak league like this.

Looking at their squad I agree they do seem to have more depth. I’d still pick our starting eleven over theirs.

Allegri doing defensive subs early in the Coppa final then losing to a mediocre Inter scares the hell out of me more than the squad. We can't do a Coke Zero again with the likes Vlahovic, Di Maria, Pogba, Chiesa etc. Our lack of a left side will be brutally exposed in CL, but it won't be that bad domestically.
We barely have goal-scorers in the squad. Apart from Vlahovic, who's scoring? Chiesa will be out a third of the season minimum. Di Maria and Cuadrado usually don't have a lot of goals in them. Our mids don't have goals in them apart from Locatelli and he'll probably play infront on defence. We're still at hoping for 10 goals from McKennie and Rabiot/unfit Pogba like last season. I don't know how one can expect to go the distance with this squad.
We really just need good offensive left-back like Udogie and mercato chiuso. Splashing cash on the likes of Zaniolo is useless when there is a gaping hole in the squad and we're playing with 10 men every game. Sandro cost us so many games with his absolutely horrendous mistakes and he offers absolutely nothing offensively, leaving Vlahovic completely reliant on the right side of the pitch. Sounds like a hilarious and stupid suggestion, but Marcelo is left hanging without a club and I'd put him on the pitch for just one season like Di Maria if we're absolutely broke and can't get anyone else.
Udinese sold De Paul the minute a 35m offer arrived, they could've easily haggled for a way higher price. Udogie will be gone the minute an appropriate offer arrives, just like everyone else that has managed to come through there.
Good full-backs are probably the hardest players to come by, but make the biggest difference. Just ask Liverpool. Insane how we've been neglecting those positions over and over for years on end. Insane to even think that we had both Cancelo and Spinazzola at one point.

Milan and Iner have far more balanced starting 11s. Unfortunately that's what you need to win leagues.
Overall we probably have better individual talent (Vlahovic, Di Maria, Chiesa, Pogba, Locatelli)which can win games. But it is hard to consistently pick up wins when you don't have enough goal scorers in your team, a shaky defence, no depth at CF and absolutely no attacking threat down the left.

Juventus will make a move for Kostic. West Ham had submitted two offers: 12mln€ + 3mln€ bonus & 15mln€ + 5mln€ bonus. Both offers were refused. Juventus, therefore, will have to present a major offer to the Germans in order to convince them.

Kostic is still asking West Ham for time. He still wants to wait for Juve's final decision, it remains his first choice.
