Rusty Doris as a starter is a no go. Come on FFS! We should do better. I have seen nothing from Rusty to suggest that he's a star in the making - a solid player, but that's it. A step up from Pepe. Yes, he can cover multiple positions, but he doesn't really excel at any, and he's exceptionally average on the wings.
Aren't the starters Chiesa, Valhovic and Di Maria? Raspadori is a much better option than Morata to fill out the attacking options.

Chiesa is out until October/November, and we have no idea how long it will take him to regain his previous levels, if at all. Di Maria won't be here come next season. Let's just go for Kostic and Zaniolo. We have money and we need more than one player in the attacking third; otherwise, we will continue to play like limp dicks.

Watched Agesti video, he says nothing new, for left side mentions Werner, Martial, Morata (as really hard one), Depay and our favourite Kostic.
Fuck Agresti. He's been a hack this entire mercato, rehashing the same shit over and over again.

I wouldnt mind a straight swap Rabiot-Paredes but I dont want us to spend a single penny on this guy. He is acceptable but he is definitely not a WC player.
I wonder if our board wake up anytime soon regarding our LB situation...

Really curious how much Monaco would pay for Rabiot... after that a loan + option for Paredes would be an OK move for me + let Arthur leave on loan. However, we have bigger issues... LB and attacking winger(s). I'm expecting that management will waste weeks to sign Morata for idiot Allegri's reuqest...

Why are everyone so against Morata.
I agree he wasnt the most prolific player for us but as a winger he actually has nice numbers and he did win some MOTM awards in some games. He has some qualities that we seem to dismiss.

If we sign Morata for a fair price I would definitely not going to cry over it.
Are there better options? Well you could point to Kostic on the wing but then again he didnt play in Serie A so his production could be reduced.
Raspadori? Morata is way better than this jabroni.

Historically, defenders that come to us have always developed a lot because they played with the likes of Chiellini and Barzagli. I'd like to assume the same with Raspadori given that we have Vlahovic, Chiesa, and Di Maria now. 30M for a young, healthy, and fast Italian is a good option I'd say. With Pogba and Locatelli, I expect Zakaria and McKennie to improve as well. If we let Raspadori pass, I have a feeling we'll end up getting nobody so then Cuadrado plays LW.

So be it..
Raspadori is ok but he is definitely not a 30M player. 15M seems way more like his value and I`d even argue thats still pretty high.

Morata, Raspadori and Kostic rumors. We should buy 2 from that list, it's going to cost us about the same amount as Zaniolo. We can get him next year to replace Di Maria. And it's going to be cheaper next summer since he'll have 1 year left on his contract

He will renew and it will be more expensive after he has a stellar season ripping Serie A a new asshole. That's if Roma don't force him to accept the EPL. Good luck with that BS narrative that he's somehow going to be cheaper, let alone available, next season.

If we let Rusty Doris pass, so be it. He's so overrated on these forums. He's a solid rotation option, but that's about it. He's not some generational talent that's going to turn us into perennial contenders.

You are right, but be honest, let's say Morata would cost 20M, Raspadori 30M... not sure who we should sign...

If we have 2 choices - Pay a jabroni 30M or pay someone who isnt amazing but useful 20M - I`d definitely choose the later.
If we are looking at a winger we can find better
If we are looking at a forward we can find better
If we look at someone who can do both - We dont have too many options..
