Tottenham are more than happy with Kulusevski as part of long term project Reminder: Mandatory buy clause in case Tottenham will qualify to UCL next season/15 appearances as starter; €10m loan fee until 2023. Buy clause worth €40m next summer, €35m this summer. (Romano)
well done allegri, wasting another attacking talent. GTFO

Stop it ffs. Good experienced players can make all the difference in the right role. Cavani off the bench for Vlahović who doesn't get injured and plays a lot is perfect. Di Maria for Chiesa too
There was a similar piece today in an English tabloid mentioning players like Salah, Lewa, Modric, Benzema, even Ronaldo.

We can still get both of them. Both expiring, both leaving, both would still make a world of difference with just their experience.
What's the point of bringing in these players? I would understand if we had a squad missing a few pieces and those older players would serve as short term solutions for a complete team looking to challenge for titles. But are rebuilding and need more long term moves.

I don't see the point of these short term solutions during a rebuilding phase. Let's just focus on increasing the quality of our starting eleven and build an identity before thinking about adding 'experienced' depth.
Besides, these are not 'must have' options.

What rebuilding? We have to fight for the title until last round next season, this is not supposed to be a long rebuild.

We need both. Even this season when everyone is healthy the starting 11 is not the worst, but look what happens when they get injured.

I didn't say they are must have. But neither of them will be very expensive, they're not big ego or demanding players. They are just the right characters we need for these young players. I want DV and Kean if he's here next season maybe learning a thing or two from Cavani. Same for Chiesa and Zaniolo if he comes from Di Maria etc.

We need both.

So many changes are still needed.

Players that must leave/be sold:
Sandro
Fagiot
Arturd
Glassmsey

Players that should leave/be sold/retire:
Turdeski
Chiellini
Kean
De Shitlio

Players likely to leave/be sold:
Morata
Dybala

That potentially leaves us with the same set of goalies (Woj, Perin and Pinsoglio); Rugani, De Ligt, Gatti and Bonucci as CBs; Pellegrini, Cuads and Danilo as FBs; McNuggets, Zakaria and Locatelli in midfield; Kaio, Chiesa and Vlahovic in attack, with Cuads deputizing in an advanced role if necessary.

Kaio and Chiesa might not be ready for the start of the new season, and who knows what form they will be in once they do recover. Rugani has been solid, but will this latest brainfart impact his fragile mental constitution? If we lose both Morata and Dybala, who do we bring in? Will our injury problems continue to persist and how will Bonucci perform as he nears the tail end of his career? Will his body be able to hold up? So many ifs and buts, so sweeping changes are necessary.

De Winter and Rovella can be retained to deputize in various roles across the defense and midfield. We still need more quality in midfield - a shame we didn't take up that option on Traore. We don't need a lazy uninspired high earner on insane wages, but that's what's probably going to happen when we flip Dybala and bring in Jogba. If we are so keen on deploying a 4-3-3, we need more pace and dynamism. Good luck with that.

We need wingers or a couple of playmakers, preferably those who can cross the ball to Vlahovic. The rest of the team can continue to defend deep for all I care.
