Oh boy. I can imagine people calling you out on this post 9 months from now.

Why? This is a Juve forum. What's the motive for calling out another Juve fan for that?

And we won 9 of the last 11 scudetti. So not unheard of idea.

But I personally don't expect us to win. Not only because I find our squad flawed as its currently constructed. But mostly because I lost faith in Allegri at his current capability being able to turn it around, when he was such a sure thing for half a decade straight.

If we get Paredes, Depay and a LB I expect nothing less than the Scudetto, or at least to compete until the last round. Hopefully the defense gels quickly so we avoid another horrible start.

Agreed, I also don't see this Juve winning the scudetto and it's not about the squad as much as it is about the technical and physio staff. It seems to me there were almost no changes in this regard so I don't know on what basis we should expect some major improvements in comparison to the last season which was painful and pitiful.

I totally expect the same issues to occur as last season: no cohesion in attacking play, sterile ball possession or sitting back deep when we can't keep up with the tempo. Low energy displays and lots of injuries as a cherry on the cake.

Of course, we shoud try to win it all. But bare minimum is top 4 and advancing in the CL to get that TV money. Another year of that and we can clear the remaining deadwoods and start to heal the wage bill and balance sheet.

Not good enough tbh, if max doesn't make real progress and fight till the end for scudetto he should be sacked.

We've signed/are signing too many 'experienced' players as per the coach's request. In a couple of years, we will need to replace most of our wingers and probably revamp our entire defense too.

Bare minimum would be challenging for the league until the end. As far as I see it, this is a 'winning now' project. Failure to do so should result in sacking.

No other coach would've been spared in Allegri's position for last season's results.

We want to recreate 11/12 to 16/17 seasons all over again.
At first sign more experinced than younger player. Pirlo (33) litch (29) vucinic (28) and vidal (24). Pretty much the same as what we do now.
Hope that we can dominate the league again and doing very well in UCL. Money will come like what we get at 17/18 season when we can spash 80 M for Costa and Bernardett only. Of course with better signing than that 2 jabronis next time

Romano said Paredes' deal depends on Raboit's sale.
Meanwhile Valencia is out for Arthur and it seems no other club is reported to have interest in the Brazilian.
If we cant ship Arthur, it almost 99.99% means Rovella will be on loan.

Overconfidence and condescension. The rest of his post is holier than thou levels of cringe. That's why. I have nothing against a Juventus fan being confident, albeit delusional as far as I am concerned, in our chances of winning.

Like you said, the squad is flawed and the coach is no longer the guarantee he once was.

Good for you Habibi. I honestly don't.

If we end the season trophyless once again, he should be sacked.

I think you look more delusional with your forced pessimism and all this “doom” that is happening to our club. The problem is that beside arrogance there is nothin else you can add regarding the situation of the club before the season. Only whining and complaining and killing any vibe a fan should have before a season start. And we seem to finally be really active on the mercato trying to fix things like never before. After these poor two years the management is trying to fix all the mistakes Tici made in the past, and that is going slowly but at least we are heading in the right direction(Chiesa, Vlahovic, Locatelli, Pogba, Bremer, Fagioli). I know we need more players and we have holes as in LB, LW, SS but the deadwood we got is hard to sell all of them in one window.
I mean come on you’re acting like we got Bayern, Real Madrid and Manchester City in the league and that really the chances are non existent for us to win the league.
In reality as I said I don’t see any ITALIAN team to be better than us, they all have flaws and weak parts in their first eleven and their whole roster seem incomplete or at least one-two injuries to total collapse..
So to say that I’m overconfident it’s a bit silly at this point. I’m not talking about wining the champions league for fuck’s sake.. I’m talking about serie A. Last year Milan won because Inter and Juventus choked.. Milan played with mediocre players except Leao, Theo, Giroud and Magnan(All had a great season).. We had Dybala and Chiesa Injured for almost whole season.. Imagine if Milan played without Leao or Theo , or Inter had Brozovic or Barella injured they would suffer and lose a lot of points...The great Atalanta lost Zapata in winter they went from 3d to 8th place in a month.. etc etc.
My point is that Italian teams are vulnerable and there is not one favorite that could easily win the scudetto this year. So if you don’t see Juventus as a team who will fight till the end and have big chances of wining the title then what’s your point of being a supporter at all.

Were we ever linked to Wijnaldum? I am surprised Roma snatched him. Seems like the kind of transfer Juve, Inter or Milan would be all over ahead of Roma
Honestly i think we would have gone for Matic, if not because of Mourinho. We always had links for him and he would be a cheap choice to play in the bottom of the midfield . He is the pull factor in Roma. Players like Matic and Wihnaldum wouldnt not have ended in Rome if it wasnt for him.
