I think the most turning point with de Ligt is that club thinks they are buying themselves a defender for next 10 years. But when u consider the wages and the transfer fee, I'm not sure if that's such a good deal. How do you plan to extend a contract which is already tripled of what he should earn is hard for me to understand, because it seems someone was shortsighted here in our mgmt. If the guy at 20 years old gets 8+4m then it's pretty easy to see he will demand more with the extension, being 22 or 23.

Skriniar is so overrated around these parts. He's a fucking butcher and gets away with tons of shit. If he were playing for any other club but Sfinter, he'd be getting sent off every 5 games and conceding 5-7 penalties per season.
I agree that he tends to get away with those fouls and it's strange, but since it works that's great if he plays for your team. I wouldn't say he is overrated, didn't see any CB in CL this year who was better than him and he had to play with completely out of form de Vrij.

That can probably be attributed to Paratici(and probably Agnelli as well) being desperate to get the project around CR7 to show immediate progress both on the pitch as well as off it because of the hype and expectations that was building up around the club at the time.

Those who 40 days ago had said "de Ligt one step away from renewal" (and it was not true) "trust" "filters optimism", now hurry to find him a team without explaining why he has not renewed. And what can happen with the renewal. A little serious isn't it?

Lol is he actually dissing Agresti?

Gervinho made a career in Serie A with his speed, Werner will be fine.

Just get the cash part high enough to solve the replacement at CB

What happened to Werner though? Wasn't he doing great in Germany?
Idk, I liked him at Leipzig, not for the money Chelsea paid, but as a speedy jack of all trades yeah

Chelsea have had an enormous amount of flops for a club that won so much these years. Kante is probably their last big signing that was a unanimous success.

Aggiornamento #DiMaria: il Fideo, al momento, non vuole dare risposte e prende altro tempo per decidere il suo futuro // #DiMaria update: at the moment El Fideo wants more time to consider his future before giving a definitive answer @GoalItalia @Goal - Agresti

How about saying a fuck you to this motherfucker and move onto other targets.
Because we are clueless and this management is proving to be a slow moving and uninspiring clusterfuck so far.

Werner is very weak in finishing but he has high mobility and speed and can help Vlahovic a lot as a winger. But he is definitely not worth more than 20-25m.

If the plan is to deploy him as a winger I hope we are very clear about him with this and he is keen. We got lucky with Kwadwo and Mandzukic being ok with playing out of position.
If he's down I could get excited about it for sure

I’d take Werner. He’d constantly give an option in behind, stretch defences and create his own chances.
Conversion rate would probably stay low.

Would help establish domestic dominance before we can consider real progress in Europe again.
