Is that the fee though? I think that's only if it gets triggered, due to it saying subject to the achievement of certain given sportive objectives. So the automatically triggered price is 9m, the option price is 14m but also it gets paid across 5 years. I'll have to look more into it.

That’s a reasonable number for Di Maria. On a 2 year contract, it is a no brainer. He will bring so much quality to the attack as long as Max doesn’t turn him into a LB

I don't really want to sign a player on 7m wages that will be only using us to get in shape for an International tournament like Ramsey.
