Matuidi can stay if we sell the rest. At least he's available for matches, and has a skill that you can count on. Deadwood is a bit harsh for him when you compare him to guys like Khedira and MDS.

same would go for rugani if he had some playtime vs bottom half teams. but since the coach has zero faith in him, and he's got serious plusvalenza potential, he has to go too.

I like that he has experience, and he runs a lot.. but that’s it. If we dig deeper we’d find some extra qualities, but in general im just really looking forward to the post-Matuidi - Pjanic - Khedira midfield. If there’s an offer I’d accept is, quality wise he’s easily replaceable.

Never really liked Emerson for example, but he could boss around in a formation with 2 CM’s. Impossible to think that Matuidi could do that.

By the way he never impressed me after coming in from the bench. Don’t see him as an impact sub or whatsoever. Impact sub as in killing the last 20 minutes and win the game defensively.

Emerson has more skill and talent in his left toe than Blaised and Confused has in his entire being.
