I'd rather have neither. I don't like taking other teams' garbage/surplus to requirements players, giving them funds and helping them pursue better targets.

He IS an underrated low profile. I have the same opinion, if he could improve his passing rate, he would be world class. I also wonder why we haven't pursued Bennacer.
As for Jorginho, he is bench quality at most. I don't think he is needed in a midfield of Bentancur & Arthur. What we are missing is an aggressive workhorse like Vidal or a b2b mid with an endless tank and decent tech to add some grinta and push more pressure on the opponent.

I think we only need 5 pure CM. But we need 2 or 3 versatile backup that can play as CM when needed as 6th choices
Players like Alaba he can play in wingback, center back and midfield and like Berna who can play on the wing and the middle, I really hope Bernadette can find his ballet shoes again and perform like what he did with Fiorentina. He is pure right winger. He need to do simple job, receive the ball wide and give deadly pass to the middle
With this formula we have 5 players with relatively close in rank that can rotate week in week out without we feeling the drop of quality

Lacazette and Milik are very different players. Saying which one is better depends on the need. What CF do we want.
I want Dybala and Ronaldo in the team . Django was talking about Gabriel Jesus in place of Dybala absolutely NO. Dybala is a much better player than Jesus.
So what do we want on the bench? do we want a good heading player than it is Milik and he also work for the team. He is more the Higuain type even better with his head.
Do we want a player who is faster and more technical then it should be Lacazette. What kind of CF ?? That is the question. Jimenez would fit both but well cost at least 60 mil. even more. Up to Sarri and Paratici.

In midfield me first choice is Aouar . Pogba is not coming. To me Aouar has great qualities and would be by far my first choice and cheaper than Zaniolo.
Aouar is on the market, Zaniolo not . It will need a number of factors to get Zaniolo. Maybe Aulas wants Matuidi and we can get Aouar for 40 mil.+ Matuidi.
