You are making completely valid points in your arguments. But the big question is this. If the rest of the squad is not up to CL winning standards, then on what basis can we justify bringing him here?

Wouldn't it be more pragmatic and actually better for us short and long term to bring someone in like Milik (I can't believe I am ACTUALLY saying that) who is still in his prime, and would probably cost less if Bernardeschi went the other way?
If he would actually cost less then yes, but we'd lose Berna 'for nothing' while the guy still holds value and it would be for a worse player. We could resell Milik later (no one can predict for how much, but I doubt it would be upwards of 30M in the best case scenario even), but that would just be a prolongation of the Berna sale imo. Then we'd still need 2 mids and used a potential trading block (one of our more valuable ones) on a backup CF. Now if it's true that Simeone is interested and we can get Partey, I'd much rather send Berna out there. And then look if Roma would take Rugani or MDS for Dzeko (if it's true he's ~15M). Unless you tell me we could get Milik for one of those, in that case I'd say it would be smarter to go for the Polak, all things considered.

Morata I have a soft spot for, maybe on a loan+option kind of deal he'd be worth a shot. But not on those wages pls.

we have brought like a hundred of youngsters in last decade, mostly for primavera. our success rate is not high at all.

Milik is definitely the best option for the back up CF role. Dzeko although good is the wrong age and Morata has been poor for a few years and earns a lot of money.

I’d love to see us take a bit of a risk though.... I really like Alfredo Morelos over at Rangers a real hardworking, strong and quick CF who occupies defenders and has an eye for goal. Still young but apparently available for 15-20m. Granted he gets sent off 5 times a year but he’ll mature!!

guys hear me out:

how about you all be patient and wait a couple of weeks? market doesnt close for another 2 months. there will be deals.

really, paratici agnelli and pirlo don't care what lion, zizinho or osman want. they will sign whoever they sign and we can then pull a bianconero81 and rip them apart

Nah I can just see it now. Fucking 10 minutes into a CL final he loses his shit and ruins everything.

No headcases please. I like players who know how to walk the line but players with straight up anger issues are not worth the time

Gosens is 2 years older, could very well be a product of the Atalanta style of play, and would most likely cost more.

And before we get into that whole "Exchange with Perin" argument. Juve could very well just sell Perin outright, and take that money towards Reguilon.

Reguilon, IMO, is a superior player to Gosens.

So in other words, BEFORE you knew about his salary, he wasn't a mediocre bum?

And if there was a player out there who would cut their wages to come here, it's Morata. you know, I know, and everyone else knows that he absolutely loved it here. You don't think he would take a pay cut to come back? He's the one player that I would have the most belief in to do that.
A journeyman like him should only be concerned with maximizing earning potential ahead continuity and where he would like to play.

Then put him as a LWB if need be. If anyone has seen that young man play, he would be able to handle that with no issue. He's amazing going forward. I have no idea why RM would even entertain the thought of selling him, unless they are in worse financial straits than we are.
They have Mendy and Marcelo, no room for Reguilon.

Who the fvck gives him 10m a season after flopping in Real and Chelsea, two failure tenures and your reward is 10m a year in third club? Dybala should hire his agent.
Football is just fucked up. Sports in general seems to be 99% about getting your first big break then you can fail at your job for a decade and still fall upwards as long as you don't do anything insane.

15m though... We’ve spent more money on Higuain’s shoelaces!!
Yes but when was the last time a player moved directly from the Scottish league to make the grade at the top clubs?
