Holy fuck you don't realize how bad it is until you actually crunch the rough numbers. Let alone dig in really deep.
To these 7 you can add Bonucci, MDS, Berna, Rugani, Matuidi and Sandro. Those players have been doing basically nothing for months, some for the whole season. All of them together add up to around 120m gross. Wanna play a little game? Just looking at their gross salaries, you know who we could fit in this number from around the football world?
Mbappe, Neymar, Pogba, Kroos, Kante, TAA and Robertson. No joke, no fucking around. These 7 guys have roughly 120-130m gross all added up. That's a fucking dream team.

Sandro and Cuadrado I would definitely keep. Lets not go crazy here and call for every second player to be shipped away. Besides Sandro has been one of our more solid players this season so it would be silly to sell him and have another problem area at LB just like the RB position because he will be difficult to replace and we don't have funds to reinforce every single position.
The priority should be midfield, we've been saying this for 3 years now but it is high time most of the funds are directed towards reinforcing the midfield.
Either sign a world class B2B Vidal-esque midfielder who would not only add the necessary grinta that we are sorely lacking but also elevate the level of players like Pjanić who has been a liability lately or else just do away with Pjanić altogether and re-shape the midfield entirely. Our midfield's future hangs around what we are going to do with Pjanić this summer.

Alex Sandro will leave this summer 90%. One of Danilo/MDS/Cuadrado too. Rugani is gone this summer as well, so maybe MDS stays.

Attack is the most expensive and difficult to fix by far. Would we have to sell Dybala and Higgy, are we getting a new frontman and wide players.... Worst of all is we are doing a rebuilt in the last years of a 30M net per year player.

I would actually leave our defence alone. I think that defence, along with goalkeeper is the least of our worries. Maybe we can plusvalenza Danilo’s ass and bring in Meunier on a free. We could also plusvalenza Rugani and have Romero take his spot, but I wouldn’t change anything beyond that.
Midfield requires big surgery. We should use Matuidi as a bargaining tool for Aouar. Khedira can leave, and plusvalenza Pjanic. Buy Tonali with the Pjanic money. A midfield of Tonali, Bentancur and Aouar has huge potential.
