hateboer and theo hernandez anyone? Theo probably is too pricey, but milan is a shithole, he could demand transfer if we would show interest. Also we would need to find a buyer for AS.

Now that I said all that, this is probably an operation that would require more time than a month's transfer market or whatever it will be

Exactly what Im saying. He wont improve us in terms of starting 11 but he will be strengthening in terms of depth.
Arthur was brought here so I guess he would start while Bentancur will definitely start and judging post-break performances I think Rabiot will start as well so I dont expect us to sign a superstar although a cheap depth signing is definitely possible.

Stats give you the impression but can also mislead.
Tactics, mentality of the team, roles can all make or break a player stats wise.

I`d love us to take a Zaniolo bullet while I always said Tonali is good but also overhyped.
Zaniolo took the leader role at Roma at such a young age and performs Totti like moves and he doesnt do it against Spal.. He does it against the big teams as well.
Dissing Zaniolo means you dont understand football

Sure as backup he would be a good purchase but what about our starting midfielders?! Its not as we have a WC trio..
Right now we have 3 starters for next season and all 3 are young and promising but arent the total package yet (Bentancur is included even though he is the closest one to be the real deal)
Not any stats. Key Passes per game, tackles, and dribbles are very important for a midfielder. I would consider Locatelli if only Khedira and Matuidi are sold.

Right now if we could offload khedira matuidi and ramsey I wouldnt be crying if tonali joined, especially if what inter has proposed does come to fruition then it would be a no brainer. As many have mentioned arthur bentancur and rabiot look set to be our starting trio...we need reliable back ups for rotation.

Zaniolo is a beast...a fucking bull with finesse. He just runs past players like they are not even there. I was against the move recently just based on his recent injury but he really hasn't missed a beat since returning.

Hateboer is an interesting name, I think he can be a good signing. Theo no way we’ll get him, he’ll probably be sold to PSG or Man City.

Surprised to see Locatelli among the good players, haven't seen much of him and the few time I have he didn't stand out. Progressive passes can be explained by him playing very deep and the start of every ball possession but what about progressive runs? Is he dribbling or just moving forwards as he's not pressed enough because Sassuolo opponents allow it?
Locatelli.

Done deal it.

Stats matter as I said before but sometimes they are misleading.
Its not that I dont rate Locatelli as I always thought about him as a good young player but despite him having better stats - He will be our 4th or 5th best midfielder (great backup to have)

We all know Zaniolo and we all want him here. The question is - Can we bring him here?

Juve is working on bringing De Paul to Torino. The asking price is around the 35-40mln€. [Corriere Torino]
He is a good player but I always thought we could do better.
Also he would fight for a place with Rabiot Bentancur and Arthur. We definitely have depth with him but isnt the whole idea is to make our midfield look like a top club midfield?!
Im not against De Paul but why cant we just improve our first 11 in getting a star midfielder - It is obviously what we need.

So, the season starts on 19th September (summer mercato closes on 5th of October).

So many work to do, so little time. Lets see if Paratici delivers.
What if he doesn't deliver? What do? :boh:

Also, do we keep chain smoking bus driver Sorri?

Sorry Bro. Not for 40 Million. I'd rather we spend 50+ on Zaniolo.

Also, Udinese have Fofana who's, ostensibly, on an expiring contract. We should try and get him as a backup. Relatively young, cheap, and could be a decent option in rotation.
