I wouldn't be too sure. On the surface it seems like an impossible idea, but the devil's in the details. If anything the least likely party for Adidas to do that for - of all involved is Juventus.

They have a huge deal with both Pogba and United. Both are working against each other atm. It's a mess. United need money to rebuild, pass FFP and save PR face. Pogba needs a bid that wouldn't scream 'failure' (mentioned figures for RM kind of say that), he needs a team to be a PR star for and a 'certain' fit in terms of results/performances for Paul.

Adidas could help everyone and mostly themselves by helping to accommodate this deal. Assuming they believe everything works out in a similar direction they might save quite a penny in the long run.

If Adidas were to influence a transfer, it would be to Madrid then.

Very few reasons to do that ATM.

On the other hand every Juve poster around the world has CR7 'just do it' face. Only Pogba can compete with him in terms of media presence here in our 'adidas' team.If Pogba were to flop in Madrid too - the mess Adidas has now would grow even bigger. They need the 'sure' thing.

The Buffon thing is just brilliant
We sell Perin we have our vice Pole and get 20M for fair play - BRILLIANT

Why would Adidas push for Pogba to come here when they also sponsor United and Madrid who are bigger commercially than Juventus right now.
Maybe because Pogba wants Juve and Real are not too serious about him IDK
