it's not about the money though. de ligt is probably a barcelona fan, and if your boyhood club calls you, you obviously won't even consider other offers.
You think like a fan not like a professional footballer - Try changing your thinking to fit the situation and you`ll see there is more than just a fan..
This is about money+who he likes more+ How he fits in the group + Where he will become a better player...
Money - Barcelona will definitely offer more tax laws or not tax laws..
Likes - Probably Barcelona
Fitting - Good question - We cant know what he is thinking in this regard
Better Player - Probably Juve but again you cant know what he is thinking...

All those characteristics that made him great at Arsenal deserted him at United. He was no longer quick and couldn’t beat his man to save his life. He also plays off the LW like CR so don’t know how he’d fit in a 4-3-3 if Ronaldo is in the same line-up. He never really played RW at United; with the club going as far shifting Martial out of position to accommodate him on the left.
So he was great for years and extremely fast - then he went to Man Utd and suddenly he is slow bad and not worth a penny?!

Hes last 6 months or so for arsenal he was terrible, regressing and everyone thought he just didnt want to play for arsenal anymore and just wanted to move. Then he went to united and was the same and got even worse. I wouldnt even take him for free hes that bad,guy is useless these days and only cares about hes money.

Loan with option or nothing (then dont take the option as we need younger players)

Like the other guy said, he was already on the decline before signing for United. Or you think a player can be that bad merely because of their environment? Surely if that was the case then he would have shown glimpses of his quality here and there..and he hasn’t whatsoever. If he came here, I doubt he’d improve drastically to the point that he would be of use. This is even ignoring the fact that he’s perennially injured.

Players like Sanchez have filled their bellies with cash so unless he takes a massive pay cut he will probably do a loan somewhere or even ride the United bench. If he's a serious footballer he'll take the financial hit and start fresh somewhere else but I doubt it because the moment he signed the contract with United he lost all his skills because he just doesn't give a fuck. Taking a gamble on a player like Caldara who was injured all season is one thing, gambling on a lazy shit is another because he has regressed badly.

I really want Dybala to stay and I'm refusing to believe it until that day comes. I really hope Allegri gets his finger out of his arse and thinks back to his best teams because its as clear as day that we're a couple of quality midfielders and defensive reinforcements away from that CL trophy. Our play with 4-3-3 has been terrible and modafockas like Sandro need to go. Upgrades only so Chiesa for Dybala is a no, give me names like Leroy Sane and Dybala shouldn't be sacrificed for N'Dombele because we'll need another striker.

Obviously the newspapers are fuelling all this nonsense but I really hope Allegri doesn't revolutionise the squad because we don't need it. 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 diamond with a play maker. Done.

I’m surprised we haven’t enquired at all about B.Fernandes? Extremely talented midfielder, relatively young and only quoted to be going for €55M which Man City are prepared to pay. His end product is also exceptional for a player in his position as he’s recorded an astounding 30 goals and 20+assists in all comps this season (granted its only the Portuguese league).

Real Madrid are in for this guy

I remember him in Serie A for Sampdoria and Udinese, good creative and tidy midfielder. Its suprising to see highlights of him going bananas in Sporting, didnt seem to have that end product in him in Serie A (and he was here since his teens). Thats what patience gets you.

This explains why he is so slow now..

The only thing I can say is that I doubt Rabiot would be benched :D

Sure, if we can do this. Big if tho.
Im not saying hed be benched, im just suggesting 2 scenarios:

Sign Pogba&Ndombele -> sell Pjanic -> replace with Rabiot or
Sign Sergej&Ndombele -> keep Pjanic

Both are heavy financial investments but necessary imo

We would have more quality if we keep Pjanic and sign Ndombele and Sergej, even if I want Pogba the most of all, the 3rd piece in your scenario with Pogba would be Rabiot, and he is way weaker player then the mentionned options.

But neither scenario will happen because we aint signing two signings that are each worth 70m atleast, especially after we got freebie Ramsey.

We are not going to buy both Ndombele and SMS...
It would either be Pogba or Ndombele and one of them may be joined by Rabiot because he is free...

Pjanic - I think we should sell him as when we bought him he obviously was under his true value but now... He clearly is over his value..
I have no fear about losing Pjanic as he is a great player but can definitely be replaced..

I want an all french midfield but I can probably only dream of it... Rabiot Pogba Ndombele

Isn't Pogba Madrid bound?

which makes me wonder why we aren't at least interested at that price..

I honestly don't know if Pogba makes sense with his coat and wages. I'll take the other two
