For the 100m+ untouchable, unsellable Pjanic people who thought Mandzukic was a top 3 striker in the world a few months ago (after complaining about him being in the XI last season) only to change their mind shortly afterwards again and for others who don't quite understand the Icardi rumors:

Andrea Pirlo: "In my opinion, Mario Mandzukic can't be a starter at Juventus in the future." Sky

Pirlo: "Juventus will have to sign a new striker to play alongside Cristiano." Sky

Fun fact: Benatia played for Roma too and was head and shoulders above Manolas.

Current post-injury Benatia isn't, but to say Manolas is head & shoulders better is as funny as saying Mandzo is a top 3 striker in the world.

Manolas would be a decent "mercato opportunity" type signing, but you're gonna be very frustrated when you find out he's on the same level as Benatia and Bonucci (unless we get Varane too).
Total in sync with your post ....

Yes the soon to be 34 Mandzu can't give steady performance in the coming time .... we need new CF and Tuzers hate Icardi ...it's ok , give us another proved names that will suit us ...as playing Dybala & Ronaldo together is just failed ....

Manolas ... I don't rate him that good enough for us ...

Also Tuzers talking about Cheisa , Tonali & Zaniolo , Felix ...all those are luxury signing .... but is not a must ...we should heal our problems first and if their is something left in the budget ....then we talk about those ...

No he is not. When was Benatia head and shoulders above Manolas?

Benatia was not playing at the level that Manolas is playing at with Roma. Never. Benatia was always inconsistent. Playing one fantastic match and following it with a big mistake. Manolas is there every match, being a leader for them and performing consistently in big moments and small matches.

Tbf, Dybala played a couple or few good games as F9 (and last one was poor). We don't know exactly how good he'd be as F9 next to Ronaldo long term bc Allegri rarely tried it.

But if Max is going to be here next season, no point pondering that bc he obviously prefers a CF there, and Mario and Kean aren't ideal as first choice next season.

French Espoir Isaac Lihadji posted a pic of him in a Juve shirt. His friend later said it was only a gift.
The pic was deleted but in it there was him with the Juve shirt and a emoji of a hand signing something[contract?].

Are you Greek or something? Benatia pre injury was definitely better then what Manolas shown so far, he was looking like Nesta type of athleticism combined with smarts in marking. Roma could play super high lines and have him mop everything in sight, was near best defender in league then, like Koulibaly is nowadays.

Injuries and unprofessional has hampered him, and yeah he has been inconsistent too, but its mainly the injuries. But at his peak last season in Udinese and Roma years, I would definitely take him over Manolas.

Tho I would definitely welcome Manolas, excellent player, but only in market opportunity type deal. Like Gordodecentral has been saying, I dont believe in investing big money on a backup CB. It oughta be only someone who benches Bonucci now, or wait a year or two and sign someone will fully replace an over the hill Giorgio (hope he lasts, but he is fragile).

CdS & TS headline on Juve's strategy for the mercato that befits CR7. Along with Ramsey, there will be a top arrival in every position.

    Targets:
    1. DF - Varane, Hummels, de Ligt, Rúben Dias, Savić & Manolas.
    2. MF - Pogba, Isco & Ndombélé.
    3. ATT - João Félix & Chiesa.
If we stay away from Hummels and Isco I am happy with one player for each positiiy

The system doesn't benefit Dybala so what makes people think Felix will do better? They would have to build a team around Felix but that won't happen. On form, Dybala is an elite player so selling him would be foolish. Build a team around Ronaldo and Dybala with Kean rotating. We don't play well with wingers as they're expected to defend a lot of the time so sell Costa to a dumb EPL team.

I'm team Manolas. He is 27, world class, full of experience on the big stage. If he can cut it in the CL with Fazio or Jesus next to him, he can cut it with Chiellini or Bonucci. We'd have his prime for the next 6 years or so. Cheaper than similar alternatives.

Joao Felix I haven't seen a single game of his. 120m for a teenager in the Portugese league? That just sounds unrealistic. It also seems (don't really know though) that he is a second striker, like Dybala, like Ronaldo. If we already have trouble accommodating those then spending more than we did on Ronaldo for a teenager in that position seems crazy.

Keep Alex Sandro, he developed into a solid player. He doesn't attack like he used to but he is solid. Doesn't make the poor tackles from last season and doesn't arrive late to defend anymore. If there is big money and he wants to move, then sell him. IMO he isn't worth 60m. I would not want Juve to spend 60m to sign Alex Sandro, but if no one offers this money then there is no need to change.
True. He was a beast last season in CL, but there is only so much you can accomplish with a Roma tier team. Also, we wanted him while he was in Athens still, so this interest of ours isnt a sudden one. Seems to be the most natural choice for both us and him.

Felix i think is a Mendes-Paratici good relations kinda deal. Its his most talented kid and he probably recomended him. If Dybala stays, i see no room for him however. If Dybala leaves, he can be a bet on the future once Ronaldo calls it quits. Just hope he can replicate what hes doing at Benfica here as well if he comes.

The problem with AS is, who do we replace him with. Spinazzola is good but also (atleast this season) is/was injury prone. And we need 2 quality players there anyway. If we replace him properly, i dont mind a sale, but would prefer if he stays

No, I just watch a lot of Roma. For CBs I'm always for consistency over a spectacular performer with ups and downs. Benatia is like Bonucci. Can be the best, and then can cost you the match. Much prefer Barzagli and Chiellini types, which Manolas has been for Roma. He is their leader in defense without a doubt, not just putting in individual performances but making everyone better. Fazio is finished and Jesus is just embarrassing. De Rossi and Manolas are the only thing holding Roma together.

Ideally Koulibaly is exactly the perfect player to join/replace Chiellini, but that seems impossible for us.

Two new full backs is a bit of a risky play.

I'm as disappointed in AS as anybody but we're losing games in midfield and at CB if our injury prone 35 year old isn't playing. Sort that out before dabbing on our full backs.
