Where is the Pogba thread?

- - - Updated - - -

The Juventus is ready to attack Paul Pogba . According to the British newspaper "Times", the Juventus club's market leaders are ready to put on the plate a total offer of almost 134 million euros to convince Manchester United.
The source material from 06 July, "Juventus are thought to be preparing a £120m bid for Paul Pogba."
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/...ester-united-midifielder-paul-pogba-2mxv36d85

And from the same journalist on 16 June, "The serial Italian champions believe Trippier could represent an upgrade on Cancelo."
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/juventus-plot-raid-for-tottenham-star-kieran-trippier-zwpgnnsz9

As a source The Times is highly credible. But they are very particular in their choice of words, presenting conjecture and educated guesswork with the use of words like could, maybe, are thought to be, perhaps etc. And not by accident. These words are intentional, and so paraphrasing their articles can become unintentionally misleading. The Times is also the newspaper of choice for lawyers in the UK.

Make of that what you will ...

I really think this could be one of the best Juve Mercato in the past 30 years.

We are in such a good position right now and it will remain so through the entire Mercato. We just have to wait for some deals, be patient for others, blackmail clubs if we need to...

Many clubs need money and some already excluded their top players from their teams.

In the meantime we signed 3 players for free (Buffon, Rabiot, Ramsey) and secured Demiral. Now comes the best.

Gabriel Jesus as a starter here
we literally have 4 better strikers on our books atm, plus Icardi is better at a more likely lower price (if we choose to go that route)
I just wonder who are those 4...
I mean I also think some overrate him a bit but now I think you either underrate him or you overrate our current players...
Ronaldo obviously is on a league of his own
Dybala - Potential?! maybe! actual product?! Nope!
Kean - He is super young and has time but he isnt exactly golden ball Kean at the moment
Mandzukic - Good player but.. nope..
Higuain - Before he became that heavy - Of course! Right now - nope..

As for Icardi - Better finisher indeed but there is more to a game but finishing..

ok maybe 4 was abit of an exaggeration, but i still think Ronaldo, Dybala and Higuain are better than him right now
believe me i am not a Dybala fan at all, but bar last season he has scored more than GJ in every season in a top league

Dybala in terms of potential is amazing but he just couldnt get there before - Maybe with the help of Sarri he will and maybe not..

G.Jesus - This guy is improving every year while Dybala isnt (up until now).
Of course Dybala`s first season was better but right now I`d say G.Jesus is better UNLESS Sarri recreate Dybala...
Higuain - In his prime no doubt but right now he is just too heavy.
Higuain on top form is the 90M killer which was a justified price for his ability BUT the problem is he was on top of his form and started declining
His first season at Juve was great but you could already see some declining.
His second season - You could already see he lost a lot of his pace and agility and he could be a very good player to a team with no quality forwards or a team that plays a slow type of football (which is quite outdated nowadays..)
Today`s Higuain is definitely not better than G.Jesus - I do think G.Jesus is not worth his current price tag but that doesnt mean I dont appreciate him..
The thing is he might want to leave City if they dont give him a regular starting place soon - Aguero is good but he could play with him..
