I apologize guys for my last post ... tell this moment I still feel the pain of crashing out from the CL ...the way we left ..the sky hopes we had for like 4 years now ...

back to the topic:
My suggestion that ...if we rely on Mandzu all the season ...we will have same troubles as this year ....and that doesn't mean I was suggesting a transfer out of the team ...but instead he can start from the bench ..... As for Kean ...in my opinion , it's too early for him to command our attacking line ....he can start from the bench ..he can play against the minnows ...but with the big boys ..he need more experience ...than just a talent ....

One more time ...sorry for how i respond in the last post ...I still in depression :depressed:

In response to your suggestion I agree with you entirely. Mandzukic is getting old and he is no longer capable of performing the function Allegri likes assigning him to, which is to track back, collect and to add some physical presence lower down the field (especially when we're trying to pointlessly defend a 1-0 lead). As with Kean, I think much of the fanbase and the media are overhyping him a bit too much. Its adding more pressure on the kid and now he's pretty much expected to score every game he plays. He's looked a bit lost at times on the pitch as well and that's because he's still inexperienced and unsure of the gameplan around him. He sure has the talent and Juve need to nurture him by playing him in the right position and clarifying his role. They need to learn from their mishandling of Dybala and ensure that this guy is played properly

And btw there's no need to apologise lol. Football can be a frustrating sport and obviously everyone here is still gutted about the result but this is a forum where you can express your feelings and passion for the club freely (as long as you don't get insultive of course). Don't feel bad about it.

Well, no need to apoligize. Discussions can heat up sometimes.

I actually agree on the Mandzukic part but I feel like Kean is more than ready to step in. Let's say he starts playing in september, by the time we're in March playing the big boys he'll have learned so much. The kid is obviously super talented, we must stop holding them back that much. He's almost older than any freaking Ajax player. And you know, he'd be smashing it there.

Also in his advantage is Ronaldo taking the pressure of him. Obviously Ronaldo will continue scoring as long as he's here and giving Kean time and space to develop. If we don't provide him with that, someone else will.

You know you could look stuff like this up instead of making things up entirely...

Perr Schuurs is the youngest Ajax player, born on November 16, 1999. But he has made two appearances ever there. De Ligt is the youngest Ajax regular, born on August 12, 1999.

Kean was born on February 28, 2000.

Hardly almost older than the entire team. :baus:

It was as a matter op speech, obviously. If Kean were an Ajax player he'd be a regular and everyone knows it.

Then why make that silly statement. He’s younger than every player in their team.

He might have been a starter there this year. Perhaps not. Probably would have become one as the year progressed. Just like he wasn’t ready to be a starter here through the first half of the season. He also has to compete with Ronaldo, Dybala, Mandzukic, Costa, Bernadeschi here for playing time as a forward. Hardly the same thing.

Already said so; because it's a matter of speech. And the only reason we're not certain is because he didn't play there. Ajax don't phase them in at 19-20. They sell them at 21-22.... So yeah, he'd have definitely been a starter, probably even before this season as well.

He only has Mandzukic to compete with here. The others occupy other positions. Allegri always uses a proper #9. But if you really want to go there, I liked Ajax' attack better than ours apart from Cristiano.

The thing is he must start next season... If we don't intend on making him striker #1 we better cash in on the hype, now.

Please. It’s perfectly fine to slowly integrate an 18 year old, with little experience in top flight footie. I expect him to be a part of the regular rotation to start next season, and if he performs well I expect him to win that starting spot as the season progresses.

There’s no need to rush into saying he’s #1 striker here come August, and put that kind of pressure on him immediately.

I agree it's fine. It's not Ajax' philosophy 'though.

But we definitely need him to be #1 from the start, exactly to avoid the pressure. As if we're going to have lots of pressure in September. We're just going to stroll 'through Serie A again... Bringing him later on in the season is what would up the pressure. He could use the early season experience later on and aside from that we need to integrate enthusiasm and speed in our stubbornly boring squad asap.

Sell Dybala, Rugani and Khedira for 140/150m.
Buy N'Dombele, Manolas and Pogba for 236m.
Close the Mercato.
caceres' contract expires, barzagli will retire. if you sell rugani and bring in only manolas, how many cb's will you have?

also, aren't you one of the loudest mandzukic haters? if you sell dybala, how will your attacking options look like?

There are rumors Allegri wants to try Emre in defense from next season. With him and Manolas we are set. We can even loan Caceres in case of emergency.

It's clear Allegri can't figure out how to play Dybala so selling him will help us to get Pogba and N'Dombele.
With Ramsey, Pogba, Pjanic and N'Dombele we don't need creative part of Dybala game anymore.
And in attack we are set with 6 players we have.

Id sell Rugani for some money, buy Manolas, get Caceres back for cheap (he wont mind sitting on the bench plus he can play fullback, Rugani would want to play), Emre, DS, and Sandro have all played CB at some point so in an emergency we could always do that

we need an upgrade on bonucci, not on caceres. also, you forgot about romero. then again, we need someone who improves the starting lineup.

pogba won't play in the same team as pjanic unless real madrid buys both of them. for juve, #pogback is completely unrealistic. either you replace dybala properly, or you don't sell, especially if allegri stays, and switches to 4-3-1-2 with ramsey and dybala in the starting lineup.

Pogba is the gift that Juve wants to give for the 8th consecutive Scudetto. To do this, they would need to fund the deal by selling Costa, Pjanic or Alex Sandro. [CdS]

Allegri wants a CB, a RB and a CM. Certain players could be allowed to leave. Dybala wants to stay at the club but wants a different outcome in terms of where he plays on the pitch. Allegri could experiment before the end of the season. Ramsey arriving could mean 4-3-1-2. [CT]

Id keep Pjanic while Id only sell A.Sandro if we get an adaquate replacement.
D.C IMO could do more than he did but if its for Pogba Id happily ship his ass...

Jorge Mendes pushing James Rodriguez to Juventus. [Fabrizio Romano]
90m for Varane I highly doubt it

I can totally see Mendes pushing for James to us, he's also a true trequartista like Max wants but at that point Dybala should leave and for me would be a bad deal, i've never really liked James

They could coexist in a 4312 though.

But yeah, not a fan of James either. Pass.

Not that i think he's a bad player, but to make Ramsey the center piece of a 4312? I think i don't need that in my life.
