profit and loss statement

- - - Updated - - -

would be only recorded as a revenue, but it will not result in a profit at the end of the year since we are spending the revenue generated from his sale for the purchase of Bonucci. But this is only per my understanding since I am not a financial expert.

+ we won't be getting 40M this year anyway, since the payment will be spread over the several year, meaning that on the P&L we will only record 1/5 of the amount in case the deal will be spread over the 5 years.
The purchase of Bonucci is not an expense but an asset investment. Recorded to the balance sheet. The only expense would be Bonucci's salary and his annual depreciation. The entire gain from sale would be recorded to next year's financial statements.

I'm a CPA who specialises in IFRS and I work at a Big Four.

Di Marzio: There are still details to be ironed out. Higuain is not convinced of the formula, while Leonardo insists that it just a small detail. Higuain also wants 7.5m, while Milan are willing to offer less but a 4 year contract. So, the brother-agent is trying to compensate for the gap with a severance from Juventus, who are pretty cold on the idea. There are no problems with Caldara. There is agreement in full.

Imagine we end up paying part of his salary too :howler: ::lol3::
Milan should be all over it. Have they seen how Higuain arrived to camp? Give him the extra mil. cheapasses.

Also - interesting how the loan is for Higuain's depreciation expense. So if Milan miss out on Champions League and can't afford him, he will only need to be sold for 36M.

Which is the funniest opinion of this summer?

- Matuidi is worse than Khedira
- Pjanic is worth 100m
- Pjanic is better than SMS and Pogba
- Cancelo is a "natural RB" who's great defensively too and will never play as a winger
- Rugani should and will be sold while Caldara is untouchable
