I'm pretty sure I do.

OUT: Buffon, Lichtsteiner, Asamoah, Caldara, Higuain - average age 31.4
IN: Perin, Cancelo, Can, Spinazzola, Bonucci, Ronaldo - average age 27
I love how you left Rugani out of the list.

And including Buffon

But I guess people will do anything to justify our board decisions, even if they do a Dybala - Suso swap.

SO many things are wrong here.

1. Bonucci didn't want out to Milan. Allegri set an ultimatum me or him and then Leo refused to leave Italy. His ego got too big.
2. He made errors any CB would make in that shithole of a team. When Gattuso took over everything was much better. Even if it wasn't, that doesn't mean anything. We know how he played for us and I'm pretty confident he'll be able to do that for a few more years.
3. He did have a point to prove because our fans booed and insulted him all games. Same with Bernardeschi at Franchi.
4. Juve bought Caldara 6 months before Bonucci left. Best of his generation is because he played consistently which is key for any CB. Both Rugani at Empoli and Romagnoli have been more impressive while much younger. Only know is Caldara on their level or slightly better which is no guarantee because we've seen what not playing consistently can do to player's perception. I'm 100% sure if Rugani went to Atalanta tomorrow and played a year there consistently everyone would be back raving about him. Caldara hype now is nothing compared to his last season with Empoli.
5. Caldara was bought 1,1/2 year ago
6. Higuain is not the best striker in the last decade, not even close (Del Piero, Trezeguet, Tevez) nor is Milan a rival right now nor will they be anytime soon.

How do I call it? By far the best team we've had since 2006. Not even close.
Yeah, we're going nowhere. My bad.

Basically his arguments are,

-Higuain is not a top player apparently but Bonucci is one

-We want to get rid of Higuain's large salary but happy to accommodate Bonucci's equally large salary (top kek)

-Bonucci has made the difference 'internationally' which Higuain supposedly never has

Such numpty arguments. Joke is an understatement.
If they were a joke it should be pretty easy to debunk, right? But you can't. Because you expected our most expensive player ever to shit all over himself in the biggest CL games we had over the last two seasons. Because you missed Bonucci dominating every single one of them other than the Cardiff final which was a disaster all around. And because you avoid context and push the salary narrative while ignoring the annual cost on the books, huge transfer fee and the fact Higuain is declining faster and faster in an environment designed to prolong players' careers.

I left Rugani off because he's still our player.

I was supposed to not include our starting GK last year?

Lol wtf

If we added a buyback to the Caldara deal, atleast it would make SOME sense even though i wouldnt like it

But nah, lets be that hipster and go against the grain and justify this nonsense deal just to look cool and different. Lets underrate Caldara too while we're at it.

I still hold some small hope we dont agree to this crap deal and if we dont, i am going to be laughing hard at some people's posts here.

Ofc we're not because everything you wrote in that post is factually incorrect. Even if we agree that the Bonucci-Caldara swap is a joke for the future, we're talking about next season. Do you seriously think Caldara is going to be a starter? That he's going to make the difference next year better than Bonucci in form?

If I was in charge I would never, ever do this. I would sell Higuain, Sturaro, Pjaca and close the mercato. But acting, or actually saying, this mercato or this team is a joke is some other level. Bonucci for next season is better than anyone else not named Godin and it's not close. This team only needs another top midfielder to be up there with best Juve teams ever on paper. But it's a joke, sure.

So are Caldara and Higuain.

Or are they official at Milan?

I see you are including only players that siut your narrative.

And I love how you are making this about Bonucci and Higuain, totally ignoring Caldara one of the best CBs in Italy while still only 24.

You cant be helped. You are just irrational and biased with Higuain so there's no point arguing about him with you.

You say Higuain is on the decline yet Bonucci is supposed to be this world class monster we're all dying to have ? i suppose a player is only good as his last year. If so, Bonucci was DOGSHITE last year. Actually DOGSHITE is an understatement. But no, lets conveniently leave that out and revel on some of his good performances a couple of years ago.

No man, I already said I am against this and if I was in charge I would shut the phone off rest of summer. I am simply saying this is nowhere near the end of the world people are making it to be. If Bonucci played like he did before for us for the next 2-3 years he is easily the better player (not just a pure defender) than Caldara in the same period. Nobody is underrating Mattia, Leo was simply that good for us. OTOH people are acting like it's a foregone conclusion Caldara will become the goat CB in a year like we didn't witness the troubles more talented players like Rugani and Romagnoli experienced.

This team is all in on winning the CL and Bonucci gives you a better chance for it than Caldara in the near future.

You won't need to laugh at anyone. 99,9% fans, including me, would be super happy if this was our team for next season with 2-3 obvious sales.

No, we were talking about a hypothetical scenario where this deal (Bonucci-Caldara swap and Higuain loan) took place. That's why I included them in the list. I wasn't talking about the team we have right this second.

He was an embarrassment last year ::lol3:: So many gifs of his embarrassing blunders can be found

Not only we're potentially giving the best young CB in the league(along with Skriniar) to them , we're also giving them the stronger player(Higuain) in the swap.

You cant go more lose-lose than this. Ofcourse we'll win Serie A next year, make a final if we're lucky and everything will be justified :baus:

No, I am not. Higuain was absolute disappointment in Europe save for 3-4 games. You're fine with it because 'he's the best we've had in a long time' and while that's also not true it's very misleading considering we shouldn't be judging him on our past players but on how much he was paid and what was expected from a player of his price and caliber and how other strikers, both the same price and much cheaper did for their teams.

Bonucci's problem was a bad team, bad coach, bad system around him. He was bad in that environment. Higuain was disappointing in a healthy club, with great culture, great teammates, great coach, designed and proven as being able to extract the maximum from every player. It's the same thing as before, if we're counting Higuain as better or success just because he managed to be less disappointing than a shithole club then we're not having very high standards.

Last year, that same DECLINING higuain >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bonucci in their respective positions
Look at my previous post. It's not a high bar to clear considering where both played.

Yes, if you avoid all context those deals are comparable.

We're going to ignore the fact Bonucci would cost WAY less annually, would have at least a million net lesser salary, would provide something we actually need, plays at a position where it's traditionally much easier to stay on top for longer, etc.
We actually need??? What do we actually need that bonucci provides? An inability to clear crosses? An inability to successfully escape a 1v1? An inability to avoid jumping into an unnecessary challenge?

Taking over Maddy? It doesn't suit you, buddy.
Not really. You all have gone full fucking retard. Its a lynch mob in here and no one bothers to actually acknowledge his qualities while Caldara is spoken of like he is a sure thing and already proven. Quite hilarious.

This capitano guy is making it seem like we'd be clear winners by getting bonucci back for caldara

I'm done with this rumor. Whatever happens happens, I just hope caldara doesn't leave and bonucci stays the fuck away from this club

And I've got to say - I hate how this makes me seem like the biggest Bonucci fan ever when in fact I'm exactly the opposite. But I hate how people overreact to everything and make it seem like end of the world.

No, I'm making it clear both teams would benefit from it. Other people are making this to be the worst thing ever, like we're getting Ranocchia or something. Same people that had a meltdown when Bonucci was sold last year.
