Can't see why we would need Kante though. Matuidi already brings enough physicality in that midfield. We need a midfielder with pace going forward

Kante is TWICE the defensive ballwinner that Matuidi is. Matuidi is more of a b2b hustler, but his direct impact on defense isnt much, just aggressive running with occasional useful pressuring, but he doesnt tackle, intercept and cover a whole midfield like Kante does. Think Vidal defensive impact for us at his prime, thats what Kante does, Matuidi doesnt come close to that the way he plays.

There is zero chance Chelsea are willing to sell him, let alone swap him.

But if they were stupid enough, we would get a hell of a player who would free up the entire team to focus on creating and attacking:

What do we need Kante for if we have Matuidi?
Get a considerably better ballwinning player? Midfield is huge weakness because of our inability to get out of pressure and keep getting the ball back, Kante does the latter instanteously in most games.

But that "powerful Chelsea lady" will go to Nice today. If Paratici follows her there, they definitely be banging ::lol3::
Seems like it ::lol3::

Mediaset: After the brief meeting held by Paratici with the leaders of the English club in Milan, the Juventus sports director will again meet Marina Granovskaia in Nice over the weekend: "It will be a sea-view meeting, under the sun that kisses the Côte d'Azur. Chelsea will play a friendly match against Inter on Saturday night, the most important center of the European transfer market this weekend,

Chiellini may not return to Turin with the rest of the Old Lady's squad.

Skysports.com revealed earlier this week that City were waiting for Juve to let them know about their bid Chiellini, and it now seems Juve are ready to let him leave.

City are also interested in Chiellini's team-mate Manuele Blasi, but as yet Juve have not confirmed whether he will be allowed to leave as well.

Would love Kante, but then there's the aspect if aesthetics. Dude has an oddly shaped head and a truly weird face, and with so many 9's and 10's in our squad now he wouldn't feel at home here. Risk of being bullied IMO

What I've always found weird about Kante is that you just want to colonize him. Especially for me as a white European man, it's very hard to resist colonizing him.

At the beginning of this transfer period I really wanted SMS but recently I spoke with an old teammate of his from Serbia and he said that SMS is a prick and has a really bad work etiquette. Since we probably won't get him I think it will turn out for the best.

Is that why SMS made it and his jealous old teammate didn't?
