You are basing your opinion on feelings. What you feel/believe. Your opinion is invalid until you produce a proper argument.

Instead you should look at the reality. We have a clear business plan with a defined budget. We've got a set of standards and dogmas; not entering bidding wars as an example. We've won 6 Scudettos in a row and been in 2 CL-finals the last 3 years. There's nothing in the way Marotta, Nedved, Agnelli and Elkann does business that points towards a "revolution" if we don't win Serie A, au contraire.

You might be right. But even if you are so, it's a matter of 'even a blind chicken finds a kernel of corn now and then'.

Your opinion = your hope.
Yes and isn't this the point of a forum?

I'm expressing my opinion and that's what I think

We will never win a CL with the current approach from our management, again just my opinion

I hope to be proven wrong I would love nothing more than it but the management don't give me much confidence we will win a CL

I always give my opinion on the standards of winning the CL

If I say something isn't good enough it's because I think it's not enough to win the CL

Some people are satisfied on this forum to win the Scudetto every season which I have no problem with and they see the Scudetto as a giant success and are super happy to win it

I won't be happy until I see the management take the right approach to winning a CL title

Again this is just my personal feelings like you pointed out

I'm not talking for every Juve fan in the world every fan is different and has different views

Winning the league would maintain our existing budget. League winner gets bigger share of CL money as well including TV money.

If we finish 2nd, it would drastically reduce.
I see you'e point but I don't think it will make that much of a difference for a club who earns in the region of 400 million a year

That is the biggest problem that we want to win champions league by selling our key players to fund our transfer budget

We barely touched that €400M mark, that's coz we made a final and won the league.

Now imagine if we finished 2nd and get knocked out by Spurs... That's a lot of money lost and our transfer budget would depend on sales. So tell me how are we going to buy 'better' players if the above scenario prevails..

you're original point was just between 2nd and first in the league now you are also throwing the CL into the debate

Finishing 1st and 2nd won't make that much of a difference to our budget to answer your original statement

I believe it's about a 10% difference for champions and second place so 100 million becomes 90 million if we finish second

Finishing 2nd would mean reduction in domestic TV revenue and reduction in CL market pool revenue

I'm throwing CL into debate because it's a relevant point and there's a chance we could get eliminated early

Better players require bigger budget.. So where are we going to get it from if we don't fulfil our season objectives?

My original point was 1st and 2nd in the league won't have a huge impact on our finances you were arguing it would

Onto the second part the CL yes there a is a massive difference between last 16 and final and that does have a much bigger impact on our revenue

That is like having one Douglas Costa less

I'm not saying we are going to spend massive amounts but I think finishing 2nd in the league as opposed to 1st would change our transfer targets

Changing our transfer targets would require good amount of cash too no ?

We are targeting players like Cristante and Can with our existing estimated budget. So losing the league would mean we go after players like SMS ?

Realistically we can't afford SMS that's oil money level

My opinion is we would target better players

I would really struggle to see that finishing second wouldn't change our approach to the mercato

So what exactly is your definition of 'better players' ?

Actually I fail to see the logic infact that losing the league would push us to target better players. I have atleast a realistic claim because monetarily it affects us. We are still a team that largely depends on sporting results for financial success.

While your claim is based entirely on what you're wishing for.
