It's not just about youth, but also quality. If we're unwilling to spend money because that filthy Jew is too much of a scrooge, then at least target quality players with potential. What the fuck do we have scouts for?

Don't just go for the freebies and the "safe" Italian options.
Of course it is about quality but when pogba joined was he considered to be a super star quality midfielder? Vidal was good, but not worth big bucks.

Can, cristante arw not bad signings considering pjanix and matuidi are guaranteed starters. I agree one more reliable proven quality midfielder wouod be great but if we players can and cristante come in to replace sturaro, khedira and an unfortunate unhealthy marchisio i dont think it is bad. If we land cristante can and SMS then by all means pop the champagne.

What does Allegri want though...he wont start players who are under 25 lol.

I probably missed it.. Can someone tell me whats so great about Cristante?
I understand the fuss about Barella as he has that great technical skill but I really see nothing in Cristante so... anyone?
He's the kind of midfielder who does what's expected, but also know how to score goals. I would argue he's one of those who really thrives in a 352 due to the freedom of going forward. He's a smart player; a classic midfielder who knows where to position himself and get the most of his abilities. The true strength is his deep runs into the box and heading on goal. Good passing skills but great in the air. Again, he's a smart player so he knows how to adapt and read the game. That makes him a good defender as well.

Don't remeber if it was Gigi or Pirlo who said: the mind is faster than the ball. ;)

If he is our star Summer signing I give up
With A.Sandro probably leaving and with Dybala might be leaving too I doubt we wont sign any top player..
