We should be after Renato. Young, explosive talent. There's a ton of upside to that deal. Loan + Obligation for 40 and bonuses. We have a good relationship with them. I'd rather buy a young player with potential than a stop gap like Matuidi. I still don't understand why we gave up on Nzonzi. 40 million isn't an insane amount in today's inflated mercato.

Not sure i agree anymore. With those loan deals there is going to be something there, Bayern knows he is a talent, in 2-3 years time they might have a place for him. Basically we will be developing Bayern a player. We need to look long term now, no more Morata/Pogba type of scenarios were player X is here till he is ready for Real/Bayern/Barca/Manu etc.
