I make it at least 4 positions we need to cover:

Backup LB (De Sciglio)
Starting CM (Veratti, Fabinho, iniesta, Tolisso)
Starting AMR (Bernadeschi)
Rotating AML/SS (Sanchez, Mbappe, Keita)

Schick would be a nice addition too but the above is my ridiculous ideal.

Would be a good mercato, but for me the main thing is the tactics, we should really decide if we seek MF for duo or trio MF (for duo we need more defensive minded one). Last mercato we were chasing MFs for trio but failed to sign one, thanks to Max we found a way to deal with it but I consider it fail of our transfer managment.

As someone already mentioned we are always one signing away from becoming complete team, when we had great MF and defence attack sucked, when we have great attack and defence there is something missing in MF.

Dunno what will happen with Dani next season, but if he can keep his form we are one MF and one winger away from becoming WC team.
For wing I would like to see technical player who can play possesion football, someone who could make a great understanding with Dybala and Dani. I can see Bernardeschi doing well here.
For MF we need someone like Vidal, but i would do everything i can to sign Sergej from Lazio. I know he renewed recently but he is full package for MF and I would love him here. The second option is Fabinho and i would welcome him here also. Tolisso is the guy we should aim if we wanna play trio midfield, dont think he is defensively solid enough for duo with Pjanic.

I also dont understand why people wanna sell players like Asa, he is decent Sandro replacement.

Zlatan is the ultimate example of team not winning it. He doesnt even get past semi finals. Remember he went to Barcelona, his played for Juve, Inter, Milan, PSG, Ajax. Never even reached final of CL in his now 15 year career.

Zlatan not winning CL is just coincidence, bad timing but he was exactly the type of player we missed yersterday...one who'd give you a beating if you don't give 100% like it happened in 2nd half. He's the reason PSG failed so hard this season, he was their core player.

How good is that Milinkovic-Savic guy?? All of you rate him like he's the next big thing but from youtube he's more of a passer / technical player... IMO we need a muscle CM with grinta as our midfield is too soft.

My view differs from what seems to be the consensus here.


We need to improve our starting XI more than we need to improve our depth.

Provided we continue 4-2-3-1, we need exactly 3 players. Schick, a decent CM like Tolisso and a big game fucking player in the attacking department to be a vast improvement over either Cuadrado or Mandzukic. The latter will be free to help in CF position when needed

he is super talented and physically super strong, but it seems he also has that winning mentality in him like Mandzu and Dani have. thats the impression i have of him when i watch Lazio. would be a starter here for years

Add him and tolisso and get rid of Rincon and/or Lemina. Those two are gonna be great not to mention the kid already knows the league so well.

He isn't afraid of a challenge that's for sure.

im all for it, but him extending his contract and then leaving few months after doesent make much sense. maybe Beppe told him to do so, so other clubs will stay away from him and we sign him in a year

He is type of player who would make instant impact and still he is 22 years old,he is one of protagonists in national team also with the age of 22,super quality player and even 50M right now isn't overpaying for him

Douglas Costa I can see us doing the same thing we did with Benatia. Asking Bayern to loan him with an option to buy to push off the cost another year. He would make an immediate impact along with Tolisso who would slot in immediately next to Pjanic I'm assuming to add the immediate muscle into the lineup.

Balde would duke it out with Mario on the left with Costa playing on the right (Quads on the bench).

Schick would be an immediate backup for our strikers and Fabinho would be rotated I'd think with the CM's. Since he and Tolisso are both CM's and Marchisio will be back 100% next year I'm assuming we will sell Khedira or Lemina, probably the latter.

Lol I'm not sure what to think of the Szczesny, don't really believe it yet.
