1. Figure out how you'll play as a formation. Can't splash $$$ on wingers and change to a 4312. Figure out Dybala's position, I don't like him as an AMC as he loses much of his potential there, but playing him as a striker means a 2 man attack...again, formation??
2. Stop using a 3 man defence in big CL games and stop using Barzagli as a RB, tho I understand why he played yesterday there.
3. Improve overall quality of team, meaning some starters will start rotating and hit the bench, avoiding #2.
4. Sell players that aren't reliable even coming from the bench. I don't care they're good for rotation, depth but only against Crotone, Pescara, bla bla bla. Sell Sturaro, Lemina, Asa, Licht, Neto.
5. Khedira / Rincon situation...Rincos seems like the type of player we are missing but seen far too little of him to have an opinion on his game but I saw him more aggressive and more dynamic than Khedira. We need a warrior with grinta, a Vidal type and Khedira isn't that guy amd RIncon may have some technical limits..maybe Khedira will be beter in a 3 man midfield, again formation??
6. PLEASE please PLEASE no more Mandzu as a winger and the same goes for Alves. I get it, Mandzu sacrifices himself for the team, tracks back, warrior spirit...but by playing them as wingers you're inviting opposition's fullbacks to play in your half and you can't go on a break because we miss speed, dribbling in those areas. With proper WC wingers we might concede more goals as they don't help defensively that much, but we'll score much more because of a much better end product and Higgy will benefit from this too, Dybala might work better in AMC too and the opposition's fullbacks will be aware of the damage our wingers will do on a break.
This is a make or break mercato for Beppe; we can fall apart from this loss or we'll show the world we mean business.
